Tell us more and I bet we can suggest a bunch to help you win these.
More meaning:
Current car setup and tires/mods installed...
Manual or automatic transmission...
Where you think you are having problems with the track, car, loss of time, control, etc...
In general however:
1) If by akasaka you mean Tokyo and assuming you are running the GT1 race car without mods you likely won't catch first on any straights because of the absurd "boost" in that race for the AI. It is all about the corners. Nine times out of ten, you can win or lose the race because of the way you are taking two or three corners.
NOTE: By the way (on the subject of your other recent post), the best way to win at Tokyo is to have run the enduro. From my experience with it, once you do that, you'll pretty much know the track either way you run it in the rest of the game.
2) SSR 11 is one of my favorite tracks. I can tell you the same thing as at Tokyo is true. Absurd boost on the long straight and aggressive AI on the corners. Odds are in stock form, you ain't gonna catch them on the straights. That means on this track too, you have to expertly negotiate the corners in and out of traffic. As far as I'm concerned, the peculiarity of this track is the way you have to corner to be fast in a rear drive vehicle. It is all about butt swing control on the "hairpin like" corners and all about straightening out the track in the chicanes (big or small).
One more thing, in both of these races, you have to run your own race and be careful not to focus on who you are trying to catch but rather, on the track and your race. That is true when the AI is ahead of you, behind you or all around you. They are overtly aggressive in SSR 11 especially however, if you are on the right line, no amount of whacking into you will work for them. That means, be on the inside line of the AI (never outside) when they are around you, behind you or when you are setting up a pass. If you can't be on the inside... back out and let them have it. You will pay a smaller price for having done so. Best pass on SSR 11 is almost always on exit and rarely on entering the corner.
