It took me a couple of races to find the right amount of aggression and tire saving in this race but on the third try I got a clean race done.

Was Door #1 in GT2 league and qualified 1.46.05 for P1! It must be my best track timetrial-wise but I had to show consistency for a top 3 finish to get my goal of 100+ points.
I started on RMs and started to pull away first lap creeping ut to a second gap, then I manage to get .5 sec penalty both lap 2 and 3... Find myself on 4th in a close pack of 5, thinking I am a lost case with RMs in a pack of RHs. The next laps I try to keep my tires going as long as possible finding it hard to overtake. Imagine my surprise when most of the pack pits after lap 8, all om RMs! Being inexperienced I get caught out with the pit entry of the car in front hindering my line out of the final corner making me lose a place to a German Ferrari driver. Me and him pit after lap 9, him also on mediums, and somehow we make it out of pits in front of the rest. I keep close to the ferrari in front for the remainder of the race, but he makes few mistakes and I cant find a clean way to pass. I end up P2 for 109 points!
Shoutout to agitat, techno and dyi in my european GT2 10PM slot for a great race.

This season has been a real confidence booster for my racecraft and I am happy to end it on a high.

I've never really done well at Watkins Glen. Today was no exception...

Team Renault - R.S.01 GT3 '16 - GT2 - Americas - 10AM EST - 130 points available - Door #5 - Q13 (1:47.316)

Starting near the back, I put on the RHs and hoped to stay out of trouble for the first few laps of chaos.

Server issues on the first time through the bus stop. Cars drifting mindlessly off the track, then magically teleporting somewhere else. I braked hard to avoid hitting the car ahead, only to have it disappear and reappear up the track. I survived, thankfully. I didn't look back to see what chaos I left in my wake.

On the second run towards the bus stop, the two cars ahead were attempting to go side-by-side through the esses and got tangled up, sending them both into the wall on right of the track. One of them emerged from the cloud of smoke, on a trajectory that seemed to be blasting them to the left side of the track. I moved to the right to avoid them just as they miraculously recovered control to stay in the middle of the track. I collided hard into their back bumper, sending them spinning around. I got a 4-second penalty.

Somewhat surprisingly, the penalty only returned me to P13. I was back to where I started.

The field had spread out a fair bit by that point, so I just put in my laps. I pitted at the end of lap 8 for RMs.

After all the pitting was done, I was in P10. I was briefly promoted to P9 when I passed one of the front-runners who had crashed, but they soon caught up to me and I let them by.

As the race wore on, it was looking like a P10 finish was in the bag. The cars ahead were too far away to catch. I had about a second's lead over the car behind. I got careless, though. As I was taking T13 (according to GT-Engine - T9 or T11 on other maps I've seen) on lap 16, I looked up at the track map to see where the other cars were. I got the exit all wrong and went into the wall. The Citreon behind me seized the opportunity (see the photo above), and rightly sent me to P11.

That's where I finished for 76 points and 2.0% drop in my DR B progress to 81.2%.

I feel like I could maybe do slightly better if I tried again, but I'm not going to bother.



Team Aston Martin - V12 Vantage GT3 '12 - GT2 - Americas - 11AM EST - 117 points available - Door #15 - Q13 (1:47.914)

I must be running low on storage because the replay contained less than 20 seconds of data. Here's me on auto-drive, heading towards the starting line.

Even at the best of times, I'm not fast at Watkins Glen, but I was really struggling in the Vantage. I started on RHs since I was so far to the back. This time, I did manage to avoid getting into any trouble in the early laps.

It was a pretty uneventful race, from what I remember.

I was the first to pit, going in on lap 6 for the RMs. That gave me a huge undercut. By the time everybody else had pitted, I was up to P8.

Early on in my RM stint, I caught up to an NSX on RHs and easily got past them out of the exit of T1. I built up a decent gap, but then my tires started to fade. By lap 14 or 15, they had caught back up and were faster than me on the straights. I felt like I had no chance to hold them off to the end, so I let them by.

That gave me a P8 finish for 83 points and 0.5% increase my DR B progress, bringing it to 65.2%.



It wasn't the kind of finish I hoping for, but not at all surprising, given the combo. Still, it could have gone worse. It'll be interesting to see how the standings settle tomorrow...

First of all, well done to everyone who participated in the official 2026 season. You guys are all legends! Your race reports have kept me entertained and motivated over the last 2 weeks. It also shows that the GT Planet community is alive and kicking!

This round was just me going through the motions tbh. I wanted to improve on my worst score of 148 at DT Gardens.

Slot1 EMEA 253 point A+ lobby Door #1! (Yikes) Q: P13 1:46.2xx

My race pace was much better than I expected. I managed to pick up a few positions during the race, and 1 more after the pitstop, once I changed over to the mediums I finished in a respectable 10th. 158 points, 10 more than my worst round, and that's me done for this season!

And @VTEC Driver Well done lads! Driving for Renault builds character!

My overall finish was 2nd place for Renault in EMEA and 225th overall (which I'm very proud of)

I managed to make some decent credits too! Happy days!

I've never really done well at Watkins Glen. I didn't get to practice today. I qualified 14th. On the first lap, something happened at the chicane and I collected this Subaru that didn't ghost when he came back on the track

Toddled along in... somewhere until lap 5 where I was side by side with a Ford going into the chicane. He was on the inside, I was on the racing line he backed off and we carried on. Next lap, same thing, he tried to go up the inside and hit me, and this gave me a 1 second penalty

Is it two wheels on the grass for a penalty here? I don't know. I needed 10th to improve my score from that horrible Deep Forest round and I ended up 11th. A terrible finish to the season. I'll check my scores tomorrow, I should be due 7mil credits. I hope everyone is more satisfied with their seasons' end than I am.

Tried one slot of the first round but the lobby crashed so got 0 points, didn't do a single other round - got 2.5mil for topping my local region on 0 points. Now that's good money making.

Calster using pad just qualified in Subaru

He's an inspiration for me. Not only he's amazingly talented, he's very humble & likeable. I always see his livestreams or lap guides because I use a controller myself as well. After my race last night, I came back on Youtube to see his race 2 attempt. Boy oh boy...he qualified in P1 & finished in P1. This is impressive in a BRZ but if anyone were to see his race 2 drive, pay attention to the consistency oh his lap times. As if he's driving on rails & is all mechanically assisted. The consistency impressed me the most.

His race 1 didn't go well because the BRZ was getting unsettled on the first kerb of the bus stop chicane. After a disappointing P12, he practiced some more & gave a maestro of a demonstration through this controller. For those who would like to see his race 2 only, kindly skip to 3:26:14. I'll be seeing his first race too which I missed as I was racing myself then.



More than my podium in the last race, I'm more happy for Calster as his exemplary driving & race craft helped Subaru qualify. Will be rooting for him at the live events.

@BBerlingo thank You Mate. Finishing the event on a good note will keep me satisfied for a long time. I was quite disappointed with Nurburgring & Spa, two tracks that I love but the R8 had a tough time there. At Watkins Glen, the R8 was a pleasure to drive especially in S1 & S2. Will miss the Manu as it was lovely. I'm not that good of a driver but clean & fair competition keeps me ticking.

Hey bro, I think Porsche is one of the cars which is very good everywhere. Ferrari now have a car which is stable, in the past I've had great success with Nissan also. Ultimately, it's the car you feel most comfortable with. Next season I'm actually going to try AMG, as it's one of the few manufacturers I haven't tried. I was meant to get my Logitech RS50 in January, but there were delays. I got an email a few days ago, that finally it will arrive on 4th February. I've had to do this championship on my old G923. So it hasn't been ideal, but at least I got to participate.

I was disappointed that they left the Gr.4 cars out of this season. I hope they return next time.

@dazdilly75 is right. The Renault R.S.01 is a great car. Nice MR handling, without being too twitchy. That 7-gear transmission makes it easy to keep the car in the power band. Good top speed. The only weakness that I really noticed was the brakes, which aren't as strong as some other cars. Overall, I really enjoyed driving this car.

I finished 5th for the GT2 team in North America, which got me a silver payout. The 172th overall in the region landed me the top 5% for gold.


Team Aston Martin:

My feelings about Aston Martin, and the Vantage in particular, are less glowing. There were a couple tracks -- Road Atlanta and Deep Forest -- where the car surprised me by how well it did. Mostly, though, the understeer of this car is its downfall. It has great brakes, and great acceleration out of hairpins, but as soon as it hits any long sweeping corner it refuses to turn. I'm happy to be done with it.

I finished 1st for the GT2 team in North America. Yay! My 209th place in the region was only good for a silver payout, though. Oh, well.



I've now done 13 of the 27 manufacturers, about half-way to trying them all. In keeping with usual method of picking manufacturers -- picking the least popular in Canada that I haven't tried yet -- next season will be Alfa Romeo and Chevrolet. Both of those had only 6 Canadian drivers in GT2 this season.

1. Very bold actions against that dangerous guy, he was driving like he was alone on the track, he could have easily knocked you out.
2. Don't you use radar on the minimap? It's a useful thing; on the first lap, we clipped a Lancer, and there could have been a spin. Radar helps a lot in this regard.
3. What a disappointing penalty on the third lap, it's a shame.
4. I was literally watching him press the gas before the spin on the third lap, and I was surprised how he didn't spin out from such a sharp throttle press, and a moment later, he did.
5. I liked the battle with fsbobby.

An intriguing race, from 11th place on lap 6 to second place at the finish!
Of course, most of the positions gained were due to mistakes by the competitors, but driving fast and not making mistakes is the key to success. Congratulations!

Thank you for the feedback and observations. I race in VR and whilst I can’t see tyre choices and overall positions of other vehicles I tend to have a flexible game plan with regard tyres and when to change. I do use the radar a lot as a primary ‘awareness’ tool. Thanks again for your input 👍🏻👊🏻🤠

A very nice season come to end and overall very happy how it went. Here are my final results:

Has we can see I only managed to achieve one of my objectives.
P1 for Quebec province ✅
P4 for Canada (was trying for p3)❌
P90 for North America (was trying for top 50 but in the end it was around 40 points more than I managed to get) ❌
Got p1 in Quebec by only 1 points.
I’m still very proud of myself and you guys can be proud of what you’ve achieved too.

It is wonderful seeing all the hard work of people like @Moose78 that really help us strategy wise.

Also seeing Calster qualify using a controller is such an inspiration for me has I use a controller too. It really shows that there is a lot of time left in my laps even.

I won’t be participating in the nation cup so I will see you again for the next exhibition. I really hope that if I get into GT1 league next time out I will have more time slot to participate in but if not I will see you in gt2 again.

Made it up to a higher lobby for this round. Win was 383 pts off memory. Qualified P8 with a 45 flat and knew that wouldn't be enough. Wasn't super excited for this round as WG isn't strong for me. Ended up holding station while 3 others made mistakes. Finished p5 for 320 pts and only 5s off the lead. I'd say it's a solid way to end.

1650pts total, 25th in Americas, P2 for AMG.

So, the most intense season in my "career" is over.
I'm totally exhausted, driving among the top of the crop in the GT2 league required me to put extra hours into preparation, because my skills have their clear limits (and I think I'm right at them). But I wanted to perform well.
Maybe sometimes I was too conservative and instead of pursuing better points in next slots (like at Dragon Trail or Nordschleife), I chose to rest on the points in hand. But overall I did well and I'm satisfied with it.
This is the best of me at this moment, I've got nothing more to give.

The final Cup points result, over 600 points - wow, never expected to see this ever!

And for the dessert, this last race got me enough DR points to advance to DR "A"!
However short this may be (probably gonna drop like a stone if I ever try the GT1), this is a dream come true. I know it is an American account which is not as much competitive region as EMEA, but hell, I'm still happy and proud!

This is purely GTWS events DR level up, I don't do dailies.

That's a good result overall Mate. You really gave us a fair idea about race data through Your simulations.

BTW, is there any website where I can find my top 5 scores for Manu like the one You've put here? When I entered the Manu section on my PS, I didn't get to see information relating to points total & friend's scores for the 5 rounds which constituted my friend's leader board.

The last 3 rounds were fairly interesting!

GT1 Asia/Oceania

Only ended up doing 4 rounds. If I did 5 and got the average points for the 5th, that's put me at ~1110 for 5 rounds, maybe 150th in Oceania?


Biggest Surprise:
This time the bollards at Spa don't invalidate the laptime! Last round, even the slightest lick and it's Lap Over. I spent qualifying for the first 2 slots there panicking and keeping my distance from them, causing me to be 1.5-2 seconds off the pace. Then I noticed they could be clipped without wiping my lap and suddenly I'm in 5th...



Rd4 Nurburgring, Take 1:
Qualified in traffic, thought I'd start on RM and do 2M/3S. Lap 1 got bundled wide avoiding a slow car a little past the rebel tree, then on rejoining (off-line, safely!) the cars behind decided to go from single file to 3-wide and wipe me out going into mis-hit-miss. Then after limping up the next straight with bad damage I eventually settle into last. End of lap 2 pit, then onto softs. Eventually on lap 5 on worn softs I lost it coming onto the back straight. I think I end up 9th or 10th? Who cares.

Rd4 Nurburgring, Take 2/3?:
I engage the Ferrari Master Plan and start on Softs after qualifying 6th or something. Easily move up the field and am 2nd behind someone who is shockingly fast by the end of lap 1. Built up a ~2 second gap to 3rd behind. Over lap 2 that gap stays at about 6 seconds, then lap 3 it drops down and I pit onto Mediums. I didn't want to do 2S/3M because pitting would dump me back in the pack so I was stuck doing the 3rd lap on softs. Eventually finish a somewhat distant 2nd (leader did 3M/2S). Nice!

Rd5 Spa, Takes 1/2:
Screwed up qualifying, I swear the front on the 650 will just randomly deploy dry ice under the tyres and understeer for no reason. End up starting halfway through the chicane with the car pointing the wrong way, by the time I get to the line the car ahead is 2sec away. Same thing happens during the race, just terminal understeering at the strangest times. Rain happens, and I switch tyres and am a second a lap faster than leaders but can't make up the pit loss. In Race 2 I get dumped in the last chicane lap 2 or 3.

Rd5 Spa Take 3:
Qualify 6th (?) and stick with the leaders. Slowly start to pick them off 1-by-1 and am 4th by lap 7. I call sBinotto and pit early, lap 8, looking for an undercut to get ahead of 2nd and 3rd, don't quite pull it off but I end up next to them when they pit. Eventually take both of them and slowly start to catch P1. The 3rd-place AMG re-overtakes me lap ~14 as my tyres start to go. But then he slows down...he forgot to refuel! So P2 it is.

Rd6 Watkins Glen:
Qualify 13th, finish 10th, very very fast lobby. Start on Hards when everyone else is on Mediums, make up a few spots. Switch to Mediums end of Lap 7, maybe a lap early. Stay in 9th until someone faster who'd had a spin re-overtakes me. Finish 10th. Didn't do this race again. Maybe could have done better but was too busy to try.

Yeah Porsche are great all rounders and really suit my driving style. I'm kind of low B standard. The RSR especially doesn't 'feel' that fast but is well balanced.

Ferrari are my favourite marquee but even the 296 I find a bit too much of a slippery fish on the rear end, it's better with BoP though. Lamborghini even worse. The Citroen GT is like driving a boat. Not tried many of the others, the M6 seems to be strong as a FR on some tracks.

Also I ended up missing Manufacturers Cup entirely this year due to family travel. Plan was to sign with Ferrari, or if I did go home in the final week, with Porsche.

That was a fun race yesterday even though i finished outside the top 10.

I qualified in P14, which i was disappointed with since i was setting faster times in my practice races the night before, and i had matched them i could've been P7-P9.

The race got underway and on the first lap i gained 2 positions because of 2 cars spinning out. Then on lap 2, i was given a BS penalty. I was right behind an AMG, but at T7 (uphill right hander), my car lost traction at the exit and correcting it caused me to go on to the grass and scrape the barrier and that caused me to fall just over a second behind the AMG, and the game decided it was good idea to give me an off track penalty.

When i served the penalty, that allowed the fellow Ferrari behind me through, but thankfully at the end of lap 4, that same Ferrari touched the grass going into the final corner which caused them to run wide, which allowed me back through. Then i gained another position at the end of lap 5 after a Lambo was serving a penalty.

At the end of lap 7, i caught up to a Lambo and the AMG that i was behind at the start of the race, then they went into the pits at the end of lap 8, and i went into the pits and the end of lap 9 to put on the medium tyres. When i left the pits, i came out right behind the Lambo and AMG.

At the end of lap 12, i gained another position after another Ferrari made a mistake at the last corner. Then the AMG, Lambo and myself caught up to some hard tyre runners who we got stuck behind for the rest of the race. The Ferrari who spun on lap 12 caught back up and overtook me at T1 on lap 16, and then overtook the Lambo at T9 on the same lap, which compromised the Lambo's exit, which allowed me to overtake the Lambo, which moved me into P10.

Unfortunately on the last lap, the rear of my car snapped a little bit at the exit of T1, and i received an off track penalty, but after looking at the replay, I'm not sure why i was given a penalty since my right front was still on the kerb. Anyway, that penalty allowed the Lambo back through and i finished in P11.

Overall it was a fun race.

Also I ended up missing Manufacturers Cup entirely this year due to family travel. Plan was to sign with Ferrari, or if I did go home in the final week, with Porsche.

Very cool to see that VW is in.
I think it is the only change from last year. They should replace the McLaren team…

Made it up to a higher lobby for this round. Win was 383 pts off memory. Qualified P8 with a 45 flat and knew that wouldn't be enough. Wasn't super excited for this round as WG isn't strong for me. Ended up holding station while 3 others made mistakes. Finished p5 for 320 pts and only 5s off the lead. I'd say it's a solid way to end.

1650pts total, 25th in Americas, P2 for AMG.

What country do you have the website set to? You're probably looking at the wrong region's results.

There should be a country flag at the bottom on the website's menu.

Well this Round 6 went much better than I anticipated!

GT3 - EMEA Region - UK 7PM Slot - High C Lobby - Car no.6 - Ferrari 296 GT3 - Qualyied 3rd - Finished 2nd Podium!

This round went much better than all of my others round combined as I knew I could contend well at it. I did try a race in an earlier slot but only managed 11th after a crash on lap 1, but I perservered and knew I could do better so I tried again. In Race 2 at the later slot time, I managed to push harder and acheive a good result overall.

Managed to qualify a solid 3rd despite getting a DR hit in the race before, but I wanted to acheive higher and this race defo delivered. A smooth start with a hard run out of Turn 1 as I was chasing p1 in the 992 GT3 R, a good hungarian racer that was my battle for the entire race. As we edged forward I passed an AMG GT3 after the bus stop chicane to gain 2nd place and then began my chase of P1 leader. Battling hard and fast over subsquent laps up until laps 7 & 8 I almost had him, fursiuly trying to get past him. Then I noticed losing a lot tyre tread on the RM tyres but I held off and waited out the leaders pitstop, he went in on lap 10 and I pushed to P1 trying to make a gap enough to distance myself from him.

As he came back out, I was pushing the RM tyres to the max to come into the pits on lap 11, watching carefully as the original leader was in 8th pushing to come back to the top. As he came round the final corner he was just coming up to my point as I exited the pits and I exited just in time to catch him on the run up after Turn 1 and give a super chase. Pushing and pushing the 296 I was catching him, gave my last push in lap 17 and almost caught him but alas he mantained his lead and I fulfilled a solid 2nd place.

Overall a good finish to this Manus cup that I enjoyed minus Round 4 lol. (see video here)

A question that could be OT...

I see the driver Calster qualified as EMEA rapresentative for Subaru, but I have understood that he is a "controller driver".
On the other hand the GTWS Finals are done only with wheels...

So will he forced to race at the finals with the wheel or he can compete with the controller?

I thin controller has been used in competitions before but not sure about the gtws
