Slot 1: Qualified 3rd with a 1:27.4, exactly the time I was aiming for based on what I'd been able to do in practice qualifying sessions. I was over 0.2s off of Q2, while less than a tenth separated me from Q5, then there was almost 0.5s from Q5 to Q6. Everyone was in a '16 NSX, and everyone except 2 people started on the Mediums. One of the Soft starters qualified in 5th and quickly got by 4th around the outside of T3, then got me into the chicane. He eventually worked his way up to P2, while I was stuck behind 3rd as they kept squirming all over the place on the Mediums. Eventually the person who sprinted away on Softs fell back into our clutches, and lost all 3 spots that he gained in less than a lap on Lap 8. I unfortunately caught him in Sector 3, and tried to go around the outside of the penultimate corner, but that allowed P5 to go up my inside, which at least left me on the inside for the final corner. 3rd ran wide at the final corner and allowed both of us through, and 5th passed between both of us to take 3rd. I then went for a slingshot down the front straight into T1, which surprisingly wasn't defended, and moved back up to 3rd. 2 laps later, 4th pitted on Lap 10 to try and undercut. I thought about coming in the following lap, but could see there was traffic right around where I would come out, so I elected to stay out until Lap 12 like I originally planned, counting on traffic holding them up and preventing the undercut.

Sticking to the plan paid off, as I came out of the pits JUST in front of both 4th and 5th as they were also battling into T1, with the driver who'd started on Softs also having made up ground after he pitted on Lap 8 with his new Mediums vs. our 2nd-hand ones before we pitted for our turn on the Softs. From there I easily pulled away as the 2 behind me fought on different tire compounds. From there, I watched 2nd place pull away and almost chase down the leader 8s up the road. In the end it was 3rd place for 236 points, which was the minimum result I would've accepted from this slot. The first 6 positions all finished where we started in spite of the fighting over the 2nd-5th spots.

Finished my race, qualified P11 but wasn't particularly concerned as all my laps were affected by traffic or incidents ahead and was still only .750 off pole. Race went without incident, P1 again way ahead of the rest of the group and pulled away, I largely avoided incident till two Portuguese guys were heavily battling for P3 and 4 and I just about avoided getting tied up.

Pitted L11 for softs, at this point was 4th and ahead of both Portuguese guys by 3 and 5 seconds. I'm not sure what happened as my in lap wasn't slow, but I came out P5 behind the one Portuguese guy and literally just held onto 5th in the first corner from the other so I lost 5 seconds in the pitstops. The one Portuguese guy in P4 had more pace after the stops, was comfortably 3 seconds between 4th and 6th until the last lap when my softs nearly died and lost a second.

Was notable for being by far the highest Nissan finisher, everyone higher used Honda or Audi. Would have gone with the Audi but honestly can't remember to activate the DRS 😂

Pretty happy with my results for the season with the obvious exception of round 2 at CGV. That was good for gold rewards across the board. Nice to get some credits while I'm still leveling up this second account.

For the most part, I enjoyed the season, but it could have used a bit more variety. I like having some races in high-downforce cars, but this was just too much. It needed some one-make road car races. I like that PD threw a wet weather race into the mix, though. I always enjoy those.

I suppose we'll be waiting until after the live event at the end of month for any exhibition seasons. I'm hoping that comes in April, but I suppose we'll have to wait and see.

Until then, I'll be doing daily races in the Alfa and Chevy to level-set my DR for the next Manu Cup season.

As always, thanks to everybody here for making these series that much more fun! It's been a blast!

Final Nations standings/cutline (live event finalists subject to change/approval). Congratulations to those who made it!

Pretty happy with my campaign to P7 this season. Never been up there before!

Crazy comeback story for Antonio. Hope to see a couple of podiums for him this year as well. Well deserved.

I haven't been doing the online racing for a while, but I decided to jump into the last race, and then get all the 75% bonuses for the season. Very lucrative for not much work, and I like Group 2 cars so it was a nice quick blast.

Thanks to the info you lovely people post here I was able to pick the right car for me, the Audi RS5 and finished mid pack where I seem to have made my home in recent years.

So this was a very mixed bag of a race!

GT3 - EMEA Region - 7 & 8pm slots - B rank lobby - Qualified 16th - finsiehd 7th overall - HONDA NSX CONCEPT GT2 '16 - TC 2 - BB+5 - Controller

OK this first race went horibbly wrong and it didnt end well, finished last after a ton of fender benders where thse guys just could not stop smashing all over, one german was weaving and bombing like a madman!!

Race 2 was kinda better for me after I tanked up on some Dr.Pepper gasjuice which did thaaa trick, gave me a wake up call to focus and race the socks off the NSX. A better race with good battling on laps 11-13 with a another brit guy, so it was fun overall. Pitted on lap 10 to change to RM tyres and they helped get back into a fighting chance of a top 10 place. I did manage to get quite high from starting at the back and this car was overall the strongest in the race. Was on p1 for abit but lost when I pitted due to th mandatory tyre change.

I will check my overall finish results soon and rewards. For now you can enjoy some photos here!!

Overall a pretty decent season. Couldn't stop being an idiot in the first 3 rounds, which only ruined any chance I had of recovering all my lost DR from Manufacturer's, but the 2nd half of the season was much better (even though I didn't get any DR to show for Rd.4 and still lost a ton thanks to a disconnect in Slot 1 of Rd. 5...).

Season breakdown:
Rd. 1: 4th place (3 attempts)
Rd. 2: 1st place (2 attempts)
Rd. 3: 8th place (3 attempts - unsurprisingly my worst result came at a track I hate in cars I don't really care about)
Rd. 4: 2nd (1 attempt)
Rd. 5: 1st (2 attempts due to "UneXpEcTeD eRrOr")
Rd. 6: 3rd (1 attempt)

Results that counted: 4th, 1st, 2nd, 1st, 3rd. First time bagging 2 wins in an official season (I had 2 wins in an Exhibition season before), and they happened in both of the X2019 rounds.

The Hyperz stuff I've seen with Inostroza but what happened with Santos, though?
Accused of match fixing by going on YouTube and asking another racer to race again in another slot. Just what I'm reading in Discord.

Pretty ridiculous to me as it isn't specific at all. Could be interpreted many ways.

But there is place where to see a video about the fact or to read an official document from "marshal" why these actions have been taken?
Just to understand why someone loose points and then others are promoted.

Lol PD, removing points for that makes 0 sense

Anyone has more details on what happened to hyperz?? I remember he was involved on the last year Renault cheat and I though he said he would never came back to GTWS because it was boring when he was temporally banned

It seems pretty clear that the World Tour has run its course. It's not just affecting individuals trying to qualify, but it's actually affecting the community as a whole entity. The last Nations season was absolutely pathetic. A high downforce championship, with the Redbull making 2 appearances! We have so many road cars in the game, we have rally we have various cars and combos that require a different skill set to just high downforce fake cars that don't even exist in real life.

GT has always been about road cars. Where are they in these championships? Some of those guys who specialise in high downforce machinery would be lost on certain road car combos. And that right there is the issue. PD want the same tired familiar faces every season. It's a club for the few and to keep it that way they create the combos they know these familiar faces are good at. Where is the tuning? Again, it's not conducive to what PD are trying to perpetuate.

The selective bans and reactions to various forms of exploiting only makes the whole thing look like a sham. I'm done with watching these guys, either way. They do nothing for my personal enjoyment of the game and they contribute nothing to my experience. As for those who have missed out due to controversy. Oh well, here is the world's smallest violin I'll be playing on your behalf.

Whats more ridiculous he was accused of match fixing of slot he didn't drive in 😭 He scored quali points in earlier slot so increasing points in last slot could only benefit Valerio. And still PD removed Antonio point lol. Either PD is just plain stupid or want ex champ to qualify, either way disgusting.

Hyperz tried to spun people, blatantly, in the first 2 slots of the last round. He thought it won't be a problem if he did last slot clean. He has absolutely no rights to be complaining. Imo he should been even banned from Manu for what he did there.

Idk about Antonio reason, if it was simply that YT message he sent to Wind. But in one of the races he and Kaj almost took themselves out in the last corners. While I do think that was just 2 teammates having fun, it does opens the door for interpretation.

I do find myself getting bored of seeing the same small handful of guys race at the same structured event each year. Good on them for being the best, but watching them year over year gets stagnant. Not sure I'll properly tune in to watch this season.

Here is my highlights video of my last round at the GTWS Nations cup at Fuji, when reviewing and editing this I realised it was quite a good race overall, managed to finish a decent 7th place too!
