Just did my race, Q9 P7. Qualified with a high 1:18 and was lapping similar speeds staying in P9, to be honest was nowhere in the race but a few mistakes from people ahead late on got me a couple of places. Just have an inherent lack of pace here, seem to lose a ton of time in the first and last corners where if you push seem to lose traction and in the twisty section. I was about 4 seconds ahead of P10 and losing about 0.4 secs a lap to the car ahead, however that was a big glut of cars from P4-8 so if I could just find another 0.5-6 seconds could have finished much higher. The top 2 were pulling low 1:15's which is just crazy pace.

Good luck to everyone who has yet to race. I’ll sadly won’t make it for the first time slot but I’ll try to be there for the 13:00 EST. See you guys there.

Also I saw someone saying they where struggling with the Porsche feeling twitchy, I found that using the BB 2 towards the rear help with stability on the downhill breaking section…

I left BB at 0, but gear up earlier than usual seems to tame it on corner exits. Three tries so far today:
  • Q12, finished 6 - it was a warm up
  • Q4, finished 5 - someone hit my back full speed on one of the turns, lost 2 positions
  • Q2, finished 4 - 2nd until pit (1st position was out of reach, really fast guy) I got 4s penalty for pit entry.. at first it showed 1s, but when I left pitstop it added 3s more. Shame.
If the streak continues I should finish 1st on my 6th attempt :D but I think I'm done for today. I'm already a bit tired after wearing VR for 3 hours straight.

Had nice race in the GT2-league this morning. Qualified P2, finished P2.
A very quiet race with us in the front 3 pulling away from the pack early. After 3-4 rounds both me and p3 were out of the slipstream with a gap between 2-3 sec to P1 and steady 1.5 back to p3. Was a bit of a procession tbh, but I was happy with my consistency and a great point score at the end.

Took part in the Manu events with both my a/cs (Primary a/c - SLS AMG & Secondary a/c - RCZ).

I fared better with the RCZ. I qualified in 3rd & finished in 3rd as well. Earned a good amount of points too.

Found the AMG quite a handful. Qualified in 8th & finished 11th because the mid pack went crazy in fighting each other & ruining races of other's too.

2 weird things seen for the primary ac's AMG race:
  • I was the only DR B rated driver amongst the rest 15 DR A rated drivers. (At that time, I was just 400 points away from DR A rating).
  • Even though this is my primary a/c & am higher DR rated her when compared to the secondary a/c, the points earned here across the grid were much lesser than the secondary a/c points scoring.

The RCZ was a pleasant surprise. Loved the car.

GT-R feels like it's going to bottom out going down the mountain and a 7 lap stint leaves the front right at basically half worn so I can't skip a tyre change. What an experience this is going to be.

Am I driving a Ferrari…

Q8, 275 points for the win.
All drA and srS.
Started well in an ok p8. Everyone was very careful up and down the mountain which led to good racing down the back straight. Managed to overtake a lambo by the outside of the chicane and made it stick.
20970827737176572.webp

After that me and the VW behind me started working together to try and catch up the leaders. It worked well, since by lap 6 we were sitting in p5/6. We could benefit from mistakes made by the leaders.
20970662614223621.webp
Then I pitted (lap 6), that where it all started going wrong…
20970545852559450.webp

Yep you are correct, I sadly clicked on the inters.. so I lost all hope of a decent result. I had to pit again at the end of lap 7, where I was thrown off by the longer breaking distance of the inters and got a 4 sec penalty (1 sec of track+3 sec pit lane line).
I got out dead last in p14 (two people had left). I did manage to get back on place on the penultimate lap.
20970773355607293.webp

Had I not gotten a penalty. I probably would’ve finished p10 has on the final lap p10-12 where fighting hard and all where within 2 seconds of me. (Hadn’t lost ~8 sec due to the penalty I probably would’ve have been in this fight).

Oh well I still brought home more points than my first race (187) so it will have to do for now.

See you all on the Nurburgring 😉

Qualy was good at least. Managed P6 with a lap 1 second ahead of my practice time.
However it went downhill from there.
The Porsche in front brakes a little too early for me into Hell Corner and my avoiding action puts my back wheel on the grass sending me into a slide. I loose a place and then another as a Citroen gets my just before Griffins. Then into McPhillamy Park the car just refuses to turn. I come back on in 11th.
The problem with the Lancer is to paraphrase Luke Skywalker in Rogue Squadron that is 'moves like a sleepy Hutt.' Unless I was in slipstream I had no chance of keeping up and if a car was behind then they had a good chance of looking for a move. I lost another place just before the Chase on lap 2.
A Lambo got me into Hell on lap 3 and as this put me wide a Spainard decided to just drive through me. 1 hit to knock me into a spin. Another to finally put me around. Of course they didn't wait. I was know DFL!
54a0f4ef3e20651ec600b3c215c6441a_photo.webp

However I did have a Frenchman for company. Lap 4 I tried around the outside of Griffins but my wheel decided it didn't want to change down when asked and I went wide. Next lap I got a good run out of Hell and made it stick on the inside.

At the end of the lap the Lambo was in front of me who had an adventure of their own. They mucked up the chase and then span wide allowing me to pass through their ghost.
We both pitted.
Next lap I passed a few in the pits and even got a Porsche who was exiting. Ahead another Porsche was going really slowly. Looking at the replay either something disconnected or they were distracted by something. Either way a free place. Another Porsche had issues going down the mountain giving me 10th.
From there it was a case of trying to hold off the battling pack behind which I managed to do and hold onto 10th.
Not a massive score but it beats my lowest so far by 7 points. So I'll take that at least.

How do I deal with someone that is purposely wrecking me every race in manu because I'm manufacturer rival with this person?

Multiple races now I'm ahead and this guy will purposely try to wreck me early, & if he fails, not pit so he can wreck me again when he's near me.

It's genuinely ruining the game for me at this point & there doesn't seem to be any way to get support on it or report it.

EMEA GT3 - 19:00 Q4. P3

Very quick summary because I raced with some fever and I still have… yes fever in full hot Italian summer… ****

Qualified with 2:17 low with a personal best 2:16.8
I was a little bit faster than AMG in P3 but I don’t see where to pass him with my Peugeot without risking a contact.
So I did 8 laps in P4 controlling what happening in front of me.
I changed the tires together with AMG in P3 while P2 changed tires one lap earlier than us but after the pit we both gained his position.

The Elantra in P4 was quite aggressive and with my fantastic health condition I preferred to not fight and left him to go.

I had at least two situations where I almost passed the AMG become P3 but every time I was risking to go out.

So I waited and in the last lap at the end the long straight the Elantra and the AMG collided several times with black smoke coming… at the end the AMG missed the entrance in the S and I took its position arriving attached to the Elantra.

Happy for the result and now going to bed with some medicine.

See you at the Nürburgring and hopefully a little bit healthier than now…

Good luck to you all for your race.

Q11. 1 second off pole, .2 off a guy who beat me earlier in a practice race by about 20 seconds (and who pitted on the first lap and ended up 3rd)

I got caught up in some pinballing on lap one. I tried to slip past a Porsche on the left at Skyline and clipped him. I stayed facing the right direction but hit the wall and got a penalty for cutting the track. The Porsche didn't, I think because he hit the wall and stopped

I drove as hard as I could and was in 9th by the time I pitted on lap 6. That chrome, anime-covered Porsche caught back up and passed me on lap 10. I tried getting him back but my tyres were done, though my fastest lap came on lap 12. A tough race and the last one I can do this season, but I'm happy with how I drove.

GT2 - EMEA REGION - B lobby - 8PM SLOT (UK time) - JAG F-TYPE GR.4 - DOOR NO.10 - QUALY 14TH - FINISHED 7TH

Well i have to say the qualy was no existent as i had to help a family member, so just tootted around the last lap before the timer ran out. I knew I was in whatever last place that was there as some racers dropped out before race start.

Race start and out goes the Jag roaring towards an NSX that I would eventually be battling the whole race. I had good pace here today and i was really enjoy my flow and rhythm at Bathurst, maybe because I hadn’t race it in a while since except the one daily race so it felt a bit more engaging than before. These cars also help as they need more strategic placement to get good speed around the track.

So I was battling this NSX and climbing up positions, make good headway up to 9th place on the first few laps. A couple of spins outs and early pit takers made me jump to 7th where I stayed for another few laps. Then on lap 7, alot of drivers choose to pit were as i was trying to max out the RM tyres. This helped me bump to 2nd and was chasing the leader with. 6 sec gap. I choose to pit on lap 8 to salvaged an gap I had. Quick pit change, then cam out on 7th place again chasing an SLS guy with ok pace, so managed to catch on the downhill chicanes and went past him.

Still the jag had good pace, but by now the NSX Russian driver i was battling earlier managed ot make up some ground on some of my minor errors. Lost a few place form 5th to 7th jostling back and forth, had a minor bump on lap 11 when i hit a wall and the games give me a ignore track limit penalty which didn’t make sense to me as the system never does. THis fauterd my pace a little but overall went on to finish a strong 7th place.

Onto the last round now and win win win! oH wait it Nurburg Enduro ahhh maybe not lol!!!

An interesting mix today...

Race 1 - 12 PM EDT - GT2 - Americas - Chevrolet Corvette C7 Gr.4 - Door #15 - 134 points available - Q3 (2:15.994)
gtws-mc-rd5-78.webp

I tried to join the 11 AM EDT race, but the game crashed as it was joining the lobby. Thankfully, my DR was unaffected.

This was a pretty uneventful race. The only racing to speak of was in the first lap, when the Q2 Mustang went into the wall a Sulman Park (T8). I took advantage at McPhillamy Park (T9), putting me in P2.

The polesitter was too fast for me to catch. The Mustang behind me, went for a spin on the the second time over the mountain, leaving a healthy gap behind me for the rest of the race.

I pitted on lap 6 and changed tires. No issues with traffic when I came out. Regained my P2 position as the rest of the cars pitted. And that's where I finished for 128 points, my highest so far. My DR took a healthy 5.3% boost toward my DR B progress, taking me to 87.2%.

Race 2 - 1 PM EDT - GT2 - Americas - Alfa Romeo - Door #12 - 142 points available - Q4 (2:16.655)
gtws-mc-rd5-79.webp

A poor start to this race in every way. I bungled T1 on my flying qualifying lap. Somehow I still managed to qualify in the top 5.

The first lap was a disaster, though. I got punted at Forrest's Elbow (T18), then again at The Chase (T21). By the time I rejoined the track I was down to P14.

I put my head down and worked on clawing my way back. As the race went on, I picked up positions to crashers, and penalty-takers. I even made a few legitimate overtakes.

In the end, I finished in P5. A decent result, all things considered. That gave me 118 points and a 3.0% boost to my DR B progress, taking it to 90.2%. I'll take it.

Next up: Nurburgring. Let's see what that brings.

Despite a disappointing Q10 after being blocked by a bumper car ahead, the race went well thanks to honing my skills in practice. With all DR B competitors, drivers were civilized and largely sporting. After a quiet first few laps with limited drama, naturally a few wrecks ahead allowed a move up the ranks to P6. I did have to fight off a few Caymans hot on my trail.

IMG_3987.webp

Most drivers pitted at the start of Lap 7, including the Caymans, but I stayed out one more as I prefer my tires slightly cooked. I was really getting hooked up with the car as I was knocking on the door of fastest lap with consistent fastest sectors 1 & 2.

Alas, focus and consistency dictate the results more than anything, and I lost mine seeking greater glory. My eagerness to clock a fastest lap lead to an oversteer slide in the esses on lap 13 causing a nudge of the opposite wall on the rebound. One of the Caymans who had been itching to pass finally caught up.

IMG_3988.webp

Still, a P6 finish netted enough points to keep me likely in the chips and ahead enough in GT3 Manufacturer ranking to net a full $5M at the end. Maybe I just like the look of a banged up ride in the end.

Were you in the Viper? I think I saw that.

Good race. First time in a cup in an A rated lobby. Some shenanigans but less than B. Started 9th finished 5th due to someone getting pushed into the wall by a dirty driver. I tried to bump draft them at the end to help but couldn’t give them enough of a push. Plus someone came in from the back and dove into the corner they were at again and pushed them. Would have finished 6th if it wasn’t for that incident. All in all 235 pts so best I’ve ever done. Lap 12 and 13 was most of the action in front. Watched the replay probably could have had 4th if I didn’t try to help lol 😂

@Bornhall love EzioDash Pro: tire temps especially but the whole app is awesome, love my race engineer. Looks great on my iPad. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/eziodashpro/id6615061994

Does anyone know if it will rain at the Nurburgring race?
I’m personally hoping it is like the one a few years ago where it was raining at the start but stopping end of lap 1 and the race ended at night time…

I hope so. I ran a test custom race and the H tires were pretty bad at 4 laps.

Update* It’s not wet at the start but rain in the forecast.*

However there is something wrong with the system points.
You ended third as me and you got 200 points and I got 60…
Both are in gt3 and B drivers.
Shouldn’t be so much points availability difference.
I believe that those are doing dailies race are increasing their B status closer to A level but for the Manu the points should remain within a range otherwise it doesn’t make sense…

I agree with You. In my secondary a/c (RCZ), I'm as on now mid DR B. In this race, good amount of points were offered. However, with my main a/c (AMG) where I'm as good as touching DR A, measly points were offered even for the victory (150).

Unfortunately no pics but my dream of a GTWS win after a long time was cut short by the tire barrier at the end of the pit entry.

GT2 high B lobby. Qualified 1st with a miracle 15.2 in my Viper. managed a clean start and got up to about 2.5 seconds ahead of 2nd due to churning out very good laps consistently and those behind me fighting some.

I stayed out for 8 laps instead of 7 because I wanted to avoid traffic at all costs. I took the first wiggle of the pit entry pretty well but got unsettled by the curbs there. Ended up head on the barrier head back off and lost a few seconds. accidentally forgot to switch tires too. I had tried a no change in an earlier race but the final 3 or so laps were much slower.

Ultimately ended up 5th in a very competitive lobby. The winner had much more pace than any of us and would have probably gotten me anyways at some point. I'm still somewhat happy with the result given the circumstances.

Did you get any idea why this is happening?
I was second place for Peugeot and now I am third because of you… 😀
Also the guy in second position got a lot of points at the first race and after that just standard points as all the other drivers.
Is there a problem with the point system?

This seems to be the bonus points for top split that started this season, only it applies to the top split in GT2 and GT3 as well as GT1.

It looks like we are in for completely random weather for this final round. It is slightly different from when we had this race in the 2025 qualifying season. In that race, if I remember right, we were guaranteed one dry lap at the start, followed by slow-moving random weather. It could be wet or dry. In this one, the random weather is there from the very beginning.

As for tire life, I did a quick 5-lap custom race in the Alfa 4C with dry C02 weather conditions. I didn't change tires. For me, they held out until the end of the fourth lap, when most of them were getting close to the 50% mark. I was about 3 seconds slower on the final lap compared to my best. It seems like changing tires won't make much difference for me. If I end up in a completely dry race, I'll probably change them when I pit to reduce the risk of sliding off the track.

Weather would be random but scripted as well right? At the end, all need to face the same difficulty, similar to DT Gardens race. Nurburgring as the last race is a fitting tribute to the Manu event.

I mean random, not scripted. Sometimes Polyphony gives us scripted weather, where everybody gets the same pattern, but this time it seems completely random. I entered and exited the track in Free Practice more than a dozen times. Every time there was rain on the radar, it was a different pattern.

The one thing I did notice is that the weather moves slowly enough that it should be possible to predict what weather you'll get for the entire race by watching the animated weather screen on the main menu (before entering the track). Of the times that I looked at it, the weather was coming from the south-east, but I didn't check enough times to convince myself that this would always be the case or was just a coincidence.

I loaded the practice session a bunch of times and it’s different every time. One even started with no weather at all. It matches the pre-race weather screen. Seems like it’s different than the other practices with scripted weather. It does seem like it may be random and maybe even not scripted. I wouldn’t be shocked to see some totally dry races since I’ve seen that in practice.
