I keep being tempted to buy a ticket for this.

And then I look up London hotel prices and suddenly the temptation goes away for a while!
Update: I caved.

The car under the tarp is the Lexus, but it doesn't really matter what it is as the car you'll get is whichever one wins the final race in the Manufacturers Cup at London.

So noob question, how this works?

I put my vote for the player winner thing, I've no idea don't know them just vote based on who won most in the past

And for the 2 cars How this works? You have to watch it live? Also do you have to watch it all or you can receive the cars by watching a portion?

I explained it all in the article.

Ouch for Subaru by the way.

Tokyo South CCW might be the single worst track in the game for that car. Lots of acceleration zones for a car that struggles mightily in the lower gears, lots of big stops for a car with poor brakes, and basically no sweeping high speed corners for a car that makes up all its time by having superior aero.

It'd never be permitted, but if I were on that team I'd be trying to petition PD to use the WRX instead.

The daily it’s clear it’s with bop but…

Does the time trial would be with bop? If so where could I see the bop of gr3 cars to match it in running sheet? I would like to practice for both events on the weekend. Thanks.

Edit: I don’t know any of the competitors, could you give a hint who is probably to win? First time following a GT event.

The competitors page shows everyone's regional qualifying rank and their live event win ratio, so that's as good a place to start as any. There are several first timers who are an unknown though.

Apologies, maybe a stupid question.

Can you predict the winners online besides from inside the GT7 map. I am working overseas and cannot excess my PS5.

I logged in gran-turismo.com but there it does not allow you to choose 'Winner Prediction'. It does mention that you can participate by opening the special button in GT7 worldmap, so that might already be the answer.

Time trials that use cars that are in a group are always ran with the group BoP.

Even when it's just one car - for example the current Alpine VGT TT is running with Gr.1 BoP.

Looks like they're seeking co-streamers/restreamers. But why?
GT content creators have often been re-streaming these events anyway.

They probably just want to formalise that relationship a bit - allows them to count viewers of these other streams in their numbers to look better to partners, avoids the murkiness that is the YouTube copy detection algorithm, strengthen ties a bit between PD and their content creators. That sort of thing.

What a day that was!

I've yet to confirm my availability for this event, a mini reunion with the crew would be cool!
Will we be seeing you on Saturday?

And for anyone else attending, this is the last call for lunch at The Broadcaster beforehand :)

Looking at the manufacturers cup. Is the lexus still the car to beat?
Apparently they use a custom BoP for these events so it's impossible to know, it's not like the daily races where you know it's going to have a big advantage on every straight.
