Welcome to the GRAND-AM Series!

We will be testing the following cars; the Corvette C6 ZO6 RM, the Camaro SS RM, the Ford GT Spec II Test Car, the Camaro LM Race Car, and the Ford GT LM (standard version). All cars must remain stock, except for Racing Hard tires and Chassis Reinforcement. The test will be to determinate if a car needs horsepower restriction or if it should be banned from competition.

The testing track will be Laguna Seca.

The race will be held in an open lobby. Lobby will open at 7:00 PM EST on March 22nd. Any member that has not signed up will be booted right on the spot.

***Regulations and Guidelines***

Regulations:

Only the cars stated may be used. Any other vehicles are prohibited.
Racing Hard tires are the only compound allowed.
NEVER tune any of the cars. A stock Camaro SS RM is surprisingly similar to a Z06 RM.

Rules:

There will be no intentional wrecking of some sort.

Light profanity may be used, but not heavy swearing. Do not use profanity insultingly. This will lead to an instant ban from the series and possibly GTPlanet itself.

No trying to block a faster car, even if it is not lapping you.

Headsets are prohibited during the race, as even though they may lead to clean racing, they might prove to be a distraction and others might not be able to focus. They may still be used before and after the race, however.

Penalty System:
Strike 1: +10 to total race time.
Strike 2: 1 race suspension.
Strike 3: Ban from series.

Surprised there is a lack of interest for this.
 
Due to lack of interest, there will not be a GRAND-AM Championship.
 
My viper "acr-x" league is having problems too...only got 2 guys,want at least 5
 
Finding a distinct lack of interest in racing American muscle. That's too bad as I think it could be fun. I could be wrong but it might have something to do with this:

No trying to block a faster car, even if it is not lapping you

Some guys might be thinking that it isn't really racing if someone doesn't have to work to get by you.
