This happened 4 times in a row doing the new grand valley TT. I'm in the final straight, looking for a 1:58 or so time trial, then at exactly 1:56:00 the game freeze. The engine sound is bugging too. All i have to do is shut off the console. Anyone?

I don't know, golded the first lap, exited the TT and received my million :D

This can happen if you have a ghost loaded, either your own ghost or a competitor's.

I don't know why but it does happen the odd time.
Try not using a ghost or using another ghost

That has not happened on my end and I do use the ghost. Is your PS3 feel warmer then usual? Try on a cold start-up and see what happens. Good Luck.

Did you load a ghost that has a time of 1'56, if you did then that will explain it. There is a ghost car bug. Some ghosts are affected by it while others are not, it seems very random. If a ghost has it the game will freeze when the ghost crosses the line everytime. There are four solutions, beat the ghost, restart before it crosses the line, use another ghost or don't use one at all.:)

I've had it happen on the other TT, but not the Grand Valley one. Had full control over the rest of the system, so it's not the PS3 at fault.
(had a 1:57.xx ghost loaded when I did Grand Valley though)

I was faster than my own ghost, maybe that's why. I will turn it off next time. My ps3 was cold, i just had start.
