I thought they were black and white grapes?? Oh well, I hardly ever eat black (red) grapes but love seedless white grapes. I love both black and white grape juice, but only drink white wine (unless there is no white wine, in which case I'd drink red). I love 'black grape' flavoured stuff you get in the US (usually coloured blue and hasn't been near a real grape in its life), but you can't get it over here at all. I used to have a jelly mould kit where you could make jellies of insects and creatures, and it came with a 'grape flavouring marker pen' so you could 'draw' on the jellies with black grape flavour, although it ran out quickly because I used to just suck the pen and end up with a purple mouth...

Just curious. How do you plant seedless grapes to get a seedless grape tree?

I think they dip the flower of a normal grape tree into some chemical and that stimulates the fruit to grow but since it hasn't been fertilized with pollen the seed doesn't grow.
That's what I read years ago....

Simple.

Chuck a bit of grape vine into a blender (yeah, a blender) and give it a quick spin. Then put them down on cotton wool or something like that (not soil yet) and soak in growth hormones.

Voila. Hundreds of little vines.

They grow on a farm, next to the boneless chicken ranch, and the jumbo shrimp hatchery. You can sneak in and see how it's done, but it's protected by guards with the most sophisticated of military intelligence.

Actually, I don't care, as long as the grapes are seedless. Sometimes I buy green ones, other times red. I guess I'm not all that picky nor cultured.

But I'd rather be eating a blue grape Why hasn't anyone figured that one out yet?
I thought you liked orange? Traitor!

I like green grapes, though my mom insists on buying red ones. :grumpy:

From,
Chris.

Dude, move to America immediately. A grape flavored marker is just wack. Anyway, I know the "grape" jelly you speak of and it doesn't taste anything like any grape I've ever squirted the jiuce out of. I also don't know why Smuckers can't figure out a way to ship it over yonder. Oh well, I think it sucks anyway. I like strawberry jam. With real strawberries.
