I finally decided on getting this wheel when I saw it on Overstock today for $499 plus $60 in store credit with their buyer's club. I wasn't a member but for the $20 fee, I still netted $40 in store credit for this.

I was torn between this wheel and the G27 - it was the $600 price tag that was killing me. For a net cost of $460, I'm sure I made the right choice.
 
And next week you can use the money you saved to get the shifter ;)
