Amnesia: The Dark Decent. The game is scary as hell but really awesome at the same time. I can safely say it's the only game that's ever made me frazzled due to fear, and I'm not one to scare easy.
Sanctum. It's a FPS/tower defense game. The combination is odd, but it works and is really fun if you get a couple other people to play it with you. The concept is really simple but the strategy is quite difficult to master.
Universe Sandbox. It's exactly what you think it is, an open universe you can do whatever you want in. I have hours of fun creating different things and seeing how it all works.
Alpha Protocol. I think this is an Action APG that really went under the radar since it got some pretty bad reviews. It's really fun though and it gives you a ton of control over choices and their consequences, think Mass Effect on steroids. The gameplay is a little sketchy at times but the story makes up for it. It goes on sale on Steam from time to time and I would highly recommend it.
