Great Idea!

Would be a good idea for future updates if PD let us choose or vote for cars and tracks we want in the updates for example:

Ariel Atom: 75%

Enzo Ferrari Enzo: 25%

La Sarthe: 75%

Nurburgring: 25%

Then the Ariel Atom would be in the update with La Sarthe track.

Just an idea

Please post your recommendations or ideas

Good one, but all I really want is PRIVATE rooms :)

Peoples vote...
100%

It would be a nice touch, but then again, it would generally be great if PD were to accept any input from fans and buyers of GT at all.

I think PD does listen. When Spec I came out. Many argued that TIRE physics were too slippery. Now with SPECII update, there was a Tire physics patch and fixed all that. SO maybe after all they do listen to us?
There are some secret super dooper agents in our forums.. be aware:odd:

Of course they listen to the players, it's just that they're more focused on their agenda than ours, and that's fine with me, considering KY has said numerous times he's making a game that he'd want to play.

well like noxnoctis said, maybe we should start a New Poll on what we want.

and let everybody vote for what car/track they want. Why not, lets give it a try, especially since PD has announced more updates!

I vote for Audi R10 and La Sarthe.

But then i'd have to open a second account cause i also want the nurburgring :D

Of course they listen. Not to us specifically, but I wouldn't be surprised to discover that a member from this forum is a PD insider or something like that.

There's a bit of problem though.

What happens to the Enzo & the 'Ring? Are they modeled & if so, will they be released later or did PD waste time & money acquiring them.

To avoid the latter, PD would then probably wait to see what fans wanted. However, then there's the issue that PD can not acquire the winning track/car, and the fans must then settle with whatever else.

Something like this has be done as a "Send in what you think should be in", instead of poll for what will be in the next update. A poll, imo, would then give false hope unless, again, PD intend to release the losers later on.

Given the obvious difference on what players suggest for future updates compared to what we got as updates yet, I don't see how they are listening to us at all. We know that there are guys involved in making the game that do come here occasionally, but there's never ever been any kind of official questioning upon what we do and don't want. I'd really love them to do, but I haven't seen it happening, and I don't think I ever will.

Are you working for PD? :irked:

HAHA

But we need to create a PROFESSIONAL thread with POLLs. It would be best if most respected member or a MOD guy could create it.
No fuss, no hate, just ideas and what we want.

so am i. give us private rooms.

and about the ring. i don't think we gonna get it in a up-date. we have to wait for the full game.

but

give us any other track. i don't really care witch one.

thank you PD

I'm willing to bet my life that PD has a schedule for all the tracks/cars they're making, and has already done most all of there captures of each track and most cars. Making them do ones we vote for would waste there time.

Heh... it always goes to private rooms begging :)

I been thinking other kind of system too. Clean Racing-Points. I've heard, there is that kind of system working very fine in some other games. So many 'easy' ways to create it.

Would be exciting to see, who drivers will be racing on most 'cleanest drivers'-events, when some time has pass, and there is enough data to create somekind of average percentage.

There should be also events, where you cant win credits... only honour. That would not interest certain type of drivers.

Private rooms, for now , all else can come later either by updates or the full game, really starting to get a little perturbed by the on-line nuances, things need to start changing in the on-line comunity rather quickly !!!

Yeah, they've probably gotten all the data they need from the cars they're going to include in the first wave of GT5 (and GT5P updates) already, and now they're just working on modelling 'em.

I forgot the Private Rooms that's a great idea too.
But they could send an official poll created by PD that would be great

It'd be nice for the fans to get a chance to do things like this form time to time but sadly it isn't that viable. Just because we vote that was want such a car or track in doesn't mean that PD will be able to include it.

This is a good idea, but perhaps instead of specifiying specific things we want for updates in the future we should simplify it to just lets say tracks and cars or other (private rooms, online features, whatever). So instead of really having losers we can just give PD an idea of what we want most so PD can focus more of their resources on that specific area instead of them spending time modeling cars and then scraping them because no one wants them. It just seems that this would work better than specifiying exactly what we want.

Nice detail
The car/track that didn't won will come in another update.

If PD would like a vote for their next update they would put it inside the game someway. If a regular person creates this thread it would be his or her favourite cars on the list to vote for. To make it fair you would need every car avalible on the list. Because people have different taste. You have a perfect example here. Almost half of the votes was for "other car".

One thing most people do want is Nurburgring Nordschleife. So thats a perfect reason to not release it until GT5.
