I love all this space stuff - probably why the Columbia accident cut so deep.

So - for those into space and stuff, check this download out - it lets you travel through a 3d model of space, so that all the stars' positions change as you cruise to Alpha Centauri or wherever you're going - v e r y cool...

Cruising the Sol system and finding the ISS is really cool. I feel like I'm on the bridge of the Starship Enterprise!

It is very cool to cruise the stars and planets - did you mouth a silent 'make it so' as you clicked to 'Goto' button?

Total BS. I can't get it to run on my work computer. Now I have this cool icon with Jupiter just mocking me... "ha ha you can't see it..." :irked:

I'll definitely be trying this at home tonight.

You don't know what you're missing milefile...

This is great. It even gives you a little backround on most of the starts and planets.

Okay now I do know what I was missing. Very cool indeed. You could spend hours in front of that, and I think I will :D

I already did. I still haven't learned all of the controls yet, but its very cool. Thanks goodness I didn't have to pay for this. The demo is nice also.

I chose the mirror in VA, because that was the closest area to me. You should try selecting other mirrors and see which one works.

See.

That piece of junk MIR doesn't exist anymore. You could probably find pieces of it in the Pacific Ocean.

We (ma and dad) we're out the night it was coming down and we say it travelling through the sky. It was quite amazing.

reminds me of a program called red shift.

redshift could show you everything that was gonna happen in space and did happen (comets, supernovas, planet alignment etc etc)

Then why the heck did they keep its name and orbit in the program! Meh, you get what you pay for.
