Okay, so Seth Rogen decided to remake this movie and since he's directing it, he decided that he's going to play the lead role himself....but....Seth Rogen a the Green Hornet? To me, that sounds like a recipie for a REALLY crappy movie:

Take a super hero movie, ad comedian as super hero, and mix until stupid.

What are your thoughts on this?

I dunno. I mean, I'm really not a huge fan of the franchise or the idea of the film in general, but based on what I saw at Comic-Con over the summer, it could be a lot of fun. But, putting on the delay that they did, that doesn't bode well for the film, I think.

He's not/didn't direct it, Michel Gondry did, Seth co-wrote it(Along with Evan Goldberg). I think it's also supposed to be a parody of sorts, so the comedian playing the main role kind of makes sense.

Personally I've never been a fan of any of Seth's movies so unless this movie is really good I will probably pass.

I don't know about you but I like the idea of a Green Hornet remake. With Seth Rogen as the lead role presents the oppurtunity for a lot of humour. Comedy makes money, comedy gets people in the theatres, hollywood loves money. I'm sure this will be a good movie, in my opinion.

yeah the trailer didn't made it for me neither.

But talking worst movie:
yesterday i saw piranihas. That's 1:30min of my life i will never get back. I call that for the worst movie ever

I watched the Green Hornet Mythbusters episode and it seems like they tried to over explain things so that they made sense. Like with the car: it's a RWD car, expect when it's fut in half, then it's FWD, and there are several other little things that are explained away in a complicated answer. It's a superhero movie, it doesn't need all the explanation. Over explaining a movie like that just kinda kills the mood. It's like someone over explaining a joke.

I watched that as well, was not Mythbusters' shining moment.

Really the only good part was when they blew up the tractor.

Yeah. There was a lot of "It's possible because of this and this and this and this" going during the Mythbusters episode, which is a lot of over-explanation. However, Kato is now like a cyborg or something capable of inhuman feats and knowledge...so...they over explain some of the physics and completely ignore them immediately afterwards. Sounds like a good recipe for stupid if you ask me. And Seth Rogen constantly saying telling me to go see on EVERY SHOW ON TV isn't really encouraging me to spend $8-$20 to see the movie. I mean, the Green Hornet introduced America to Bruce Lee and now it's going to introduce a new generation to the reason why you don't let Seth Rogen write a movie.

I just watched this movie, it wasn't the best I've ever seen but I don't think it was horrible. For me the best part was when they did the scan of the garage, I was drooling all over seeing some of the toys in there!

Didn't get the random flying bottle caps, but when my friend saw me drawing women, he never stopped asking that same question.

Having not seen the original, I'd assume this butchered the original, but it's not the greatest movie, but by far it isn't the worse. KOF, DOA, Super Mario Bros, a lot of those "lets make killer animal ones".
In general it's an average hollywood film.
