I've just found this website after giving up with Sony's GT forums - forum software is awful and I think there's a heck of a lot more people around here to gain advice from.
I, like many others I'm sure, have been playing GT5 since Christmas. So far I've managed to get to level 30 and 18 in A and B Spec.
This is my first foray into the GT series apart from GT5P and I have to say I'm very impressed
The shear scale of the thing is mindblowing - although I can't see myself ever owning all the cars or even completing all the races (unless it's made possible to save during an endurance race).
I'll be asking a few questions and/or gloating over my simple successes - such as FINALLY finishing (and winning) the damned NASCAR event at Daytona! I've never known so many AI's pushing off the track before.
Anyway, a little more about me: I was a long-time Ridge Racer 7 fan - even wrote a decent guide - but gave up over a year ago. GT5 has got me back onto the PS3 again
I'll probably spend a fair amount of time racing online once I've completed the offline game as much as possible, so maybe see you on the tracks as some point...
