Xp is earned by race position, then there is bonus added on top off this based on the following.

Difficulty bonus relates to the Ai difficult and bonus is as follows;
Very Easy – 0% Bonus
Easy – 8% Bonus
Medium – 24% Bonus
Hard – 32% Bonus
Very Hard – 44% Bonus
Vehicle level bonus
