No need to enter the comp you guys its fixed. I don't know if this happens to anyone else but when Im making good time * good enough to make 1st to 4th on the real world leaderboard. My game makes this loud azz hissing noise... It does it everytime I make goodtime. So ive been forced to play with the sound off and just watch when its time to shift.

So tonite I beat the record my time was 1:39:23
my goal was to get 1:38.00 but I don't think its possible..

Anyway Im stoked because I know once I get to San Fran to compete for the Mustang its a done deal...period played this game so much Im that sure of my skill... willing to bet my life savings and everything I own on that. *No joke*

Well I beat the time I go to FINISH TIME TRIAL to get my code and the screen just stays at the loading screen. I left my system on for a while to see if it would go through nothing... and this happens all the time.. Wasnt happening when I was getting crappy times but now that im fast enough it happens on a constant. I even deleted the demo and re-downloaded it... Same thing... I wrote codemasters to see what the hell is going. No word yet, because Im sure out they don't care.

Has this happened to anyone at all? Im playing on PS3 by the way... But at this point im convinced that the comp is fixed. IF they have the top 5 selected to go to Cali for the Comp, they should just inform everyone about it and end the comp already...

Sorry for the novel but this bull**** got me in a full on rage! I gurantee you this though I won't be buying GRID. Don't get me wrong I like the game alot, And Im gonna get it on 1st day it comes out but I won't be paying for it. HAHAHA

Something tells me Codemasters are above rigging games. I mean, why would they? And can you imagine the fallout if the genuinely did fix a competition?

Race I kid you not, believe i did everything in my power to fix this, I know its not my ps3.
Because I tried this on my buddy's PS3. Im not to mad about it anymore, I just think its odd.. When try to contact someone about it I get no answer.. They listed there email saying if anyone had question about GRID to contact them... I got nothing. If it is fixed I wont be suprised because alot of sweepstake comps are. So why should they be any different. I was just wondering if anybody who came close to breaking the record had this problem.

Well then, it's probably just a case of server overload. I recall trying to submit top times to the Codemasters website for Colin McRae Rally 2.0 when it first came out, and it took eons for me to get through. There was no competition, just a demand for drivers to submit their times as quickly as possible, and they all do it at once. I was only good enough to end up on one leaderboard - Sweden Stage 9, Skara - and I only stayed there for about a month before I got replaced by somebody faster.
