The ultimate drift track!!!
That would be a fun course In GT6, but for now I gess where back to being stuck with it in GT2
Since it was not that used in Gran turismo 2 I have always imagined Polyphony Digital never liked the track much... Just guessing but it would make sense in a way
still miss this track
Awesome Swiss track, I liked it more than Eiger Nordwand.
I'm not a drifter, but this track was fun as heck to slide around.
@Grand Prix, maybe the best avatar ever.
It would look amazing these days, especially if they keep the old wooden (?) fences, houses etc.
My favourite track in GT2
The section where there is a train track is what amuses me. Also, whenever i hear about this track the music "Now's the time" from Crystal Method comes to my mind.
Yes it had great atmosphere. Much better than some Eiger.
The map looks a bit like one of the Matterhorn layouts.
Abso-freakin-lutely best track in the game, with the possible exception of Red Rock Valley. I get sad every time I scan track list announcements for GT releases and it's not there.
Here is an evolution of Grindelwald race track design:
one of my favourite GT tracks ever
I love going around the wood houses, driving up the hill and down. Could be a great place for cruising Online with High quality Remake of it.
This has got to be one of the greatest original circuits ever. The only track that was loads better was SSR11 (the GT1 version, not the GT3 version).
here is my S licence drive
Sorry for the bad quality, still CRT TV (if you know what that is ) shot with digital camera.
There is still at least 0.250 seconds available because of that wall touch.
My favorite track in my white S2000 race car. Watching the needle spin to 9000rpm and beyond. Then, watch the replay. Get it in!
It's a shame that this track never came in the other GT's. I hope it will come back soon....
In the PSP version of Gran Turismo there was a code called: grindelvald_ps2
So I think it was planned but not finished like Tahiti road in GT3 or Red Rock Valley for the PSP version.
