Since I bought GT5 on day one, I tried to do the game in the order that would be most sensible in the older GT's I know License tests are optional now, but to get a feel for the game I did them all anyway, and golded them all. After that I just did every race in as close to in order as I could, I have completed all but endurance series as of yet, and have not needed to do one race more than once. I just want to know if I'm the only one or am I a loner in a world of people crying about grinding?

You're just not far enough in the game where you need to grind.

What else do I need to grind for? I have an FGT and Only have endurance races left to do?

Also, that line isn't meant as an insult I just notice thats what most of the threads are about lately.

your not alone. the only reason I've grinded it to get the money to buy all the RM cars. but I've yet to do the enduro races. I have grinded plenty on b-spec though because of no special events, but thats easy because I let bob grind while I play Minecraft.

See, alright, its good to hear, I dont consider trying to make money for your own pleasure grinding, but Ive started to hit that cusp in the game where my money goes to cars I want instead of need.

Get to level 30 without grinding is easy, plenty already did this including myself. It's the last 2 endurance races that will require grinding to get to. FYI, doing all endurance races prior to the 24 Hrs Le Mans will not get you enough XP to get to Level 35.

Then why did you create a new one?

Eh the thread quality in this forum is shot, I rarely create them, but I said what the heck, I wanted to know if I was doing something wrong or if I missed out on something.

Well gee, if that's all you have to do then guess what you'll be having to grind for to get?

I did all the license testing/SEs and events in order as well, it's not enough XP to get you to the next race later in the game without redoing races aka grinding.

An example would be this, you need roughly (I'm guessing) 2,500,000 (or more) experience points to get from level 34 to level 35.

Each endurance race you do does not give enough points for you to automatically progress to the next level .

The seasonal events do not give you this amount of points in one 'hit' i.e. if you did one set of seasonol events in one go either. Even if you combine both of these together, for some levels it would still not be enough to move up.

However, if you took your time and waited for each new set of seasonal events to come out, then yes, you would be correct, eventually you would progress to the next level - wthout any grinding.

I had already reached level 30 before update 1.05, so I didn't have the benefit of the seasonal events, I had to grind to move up. You have only just reached level 25, so now you have the benefit of these races.

Also, it's not just about experience points, some people grind for money so they can buy the cars they either want to collect or drive. There's different reasons for grinding and people play this game in different ways because they want different things from the game.

Add to this the difference in time people have to actually spend playing the game and the different skill levels of people who play this and there's alot of diffferent variables as to whether people grind or not, and if they do how much of it they do and what they are doing it for.

im at lvl27 and i havent "technically" had to grind. i havent done any licenses and only the basic level of each of the special events. but i have completed all the seasonal events. i have though, completed each race up to this point about 10 times. i put myself in a slow car and work my butt off for the win. and i never win the first time around. so i havent had to grind to have enough money to buy a car that i need or to get to the next lvl but i have completed ALOT of races just to gold them. i could have used a superfast car and lapped the entire competition but thats kinda boring and leads to grinding. but i know im going to HAVE to grind to go from lvl35 to 40. i dont even want to try to imagine how much XP that requires... probably a hundred million billion gajillion zillion XP (i know lame austin powers reference)

EDIT:
to buy the FGT im going to have to grind. i cant resist buying supercars or premium LMPs

Because all the threads are all people complaining about grinding, this is asking why.
You mean you are too lazy to actually read anything in those threads and find that any answer you could want has already been discussed in detail, and recently too.
