People are still saying that the famous "Grip bug" is still present in GT Sport an broke down the competition spirit of the game ..
People like the very known TRL_MANURODRY and other top drivers that normally where in the world top 10 drivers.

One of the drivers shows the replay of the fastest driver showing that he's has a benefit of extra Tyre grip and don't even receive penalties for clearly track cutting.

Video below in Spanish, but it's a known problem and should made be aware to the users and developers for further investigation and possible fixing.

How can we be sure this is a 'grip bug', I remember seeing that lap the other day, and nothing seemed too out of the ordinary. The driver is using countersteer assist so can probably take the kerbs a lot more without losing speed, plus the cutting at Turn 4 has been like that since the game began and Polyphony have never fixed it. Also the laptime was only 1 tenth ahead, and that driver is a well known fast driver.

I watched some of the other Top 10 times, and similar cutting was happening, and similar lines and speeds were being taken. Some people were using CSA, some not.

Maybe other fast drivers just need to improve in the Red Bull Junior? It's a tough car to master as it is quite unique.

I'm not saying the grip bug doesn't still exist, but I'm saying that I don't see how this video and the laptimes are proof of the grip bug.

I think if there was a real grip bug you would see top 10 lap times that are way better than most people can get to. I don't think we have seen that in this game. The difference between the top lap times and my own lap times has remained consistent so my personal bias is to dismiss this bug claim.
