Which one will get you faster lap times? Drifting with a 4WD car, or gripping with one with the same tires? I did drifts with my 350HP Impreza 22B, and it made me hit a 1.06.540 at Tsukuba, with RD tires front and COM tires rear. Then I got a time of 1.07.970 with RD tires front and back. Is it me? Or 4WD cars get better lap times with drifting rather than understeering? I can't tell much of a difference, but I am not the best drifter out there, so I don't know...
 
And this one goes the same way as 6 of the 10 previous threads that have "grip" and "drift" in its title.



Grip is faster.
