I would like to add people who are interested in a special type of racing.
It is a combination of grip and power-slide using specific courses that cater to the driving style.
The purpose is to focus on rote memory and skill.
Remember how initial D was a battle and the lead car wins? This is a similar case! Here's how it works:
Each course has two sections a long wide section (this section is the "lobby"), the second section is the "downhill" or "race" section.
As you line up, you will be actually lining up on the marker of the second section. As soon as you cross the line back into the first section the race immediately ends.

I will message you via PSN when a room is open.
*These are courses that are "rare", and take a lot of time to find and make. They are about as "downhill" as Gran Turismo 5 will let us get.
Synopsis:
This is a style of racing that is based on 1) overall track times (both sections) 2) win to lose ratio on the downhill section.
Section 1: The lobby and uphill.
Section 2: The downhill and racetrack.
Sports Medium is the maximum tire to be used in this sport, always.
Open to nearly all cars up to 650HP.
Remember, power means nothing on the downhill. This is all about memory, timing, tuning and intuition and less to do with just "sliding cars around corners".

- Pick a car
- Line up (very similar to drag racing)
- The end of the race ends at the end of the section.
