Welcome to its first season of Global Chaparral Trophy. We are looking forward to see you on the track and having a great and fun season!

This idea of creating a Chaparral Trophy was proposed by the GRO.
Jim Hall has created a series of monsters with big rumbling V8s, destoying the big names such as Shelby, Ford, or Ferrari.

"IT WAS SO GOOD, THE ONLY WAY THEY COULD BEAT IT WAS TO BAN IT."
-rogerc, Blogger

The 2D was the first car with an automatic gearbox, and won the 1000km race at the Nürburgring.

The 2J was a Monster. Because of the 125ccm engine out of a snowmobile, powering two big fans at the rear, which sucked out the air underneath the car and created downforce up to 900lbs/450kg.
The lateral G forces could reach up to 1,5G!

To continue the legacy of Chaparral Cars, in cooperation with Polyphony Digital, they created another car with futuristic technology.
The 2X is propelled by a 671kW Laser firing at an air chamber, the air heats up to immense temperature, forcing it to expand by a multiple of itself.
The air get's pushed out quickly, creating thrust.
When the air rushes out of the chamber, right after the explosion it creates a sucktion, which forces fresh air into the chamber, and the cycle begins again.

I hope you are interested in this racing series.
