Hey guys reminder of the upcoming Corvette Festival Fall League. Begins Saturday, September 6th, 2025. This is a 6 week series on a somewhat bi-weekly schedule. With three 30 mins timed or lap races each week. Lobby open at 7pm. Race start times 7:45pm, 9pm, 10:15pm. All times Eastern US. Road cars One-Makes will be stock. The races cars will have some tuning. And the last week will be a Corvette tuners dream.

You're welcome, thats what I'm here for. Besides, like you mentioned in anearlier post, you are speaking directly to me. 😀😀
Well your my must frequent visitor the GT Planet forum besides me. Occasionally we get other visitors. I just wish it was less of a surprise. And I do try to help promote the site.

Hey guys this Thursday is 9 days until the first Corvette Festival weekend. The Week 1 theme is convertibles. The feature races are the Corvette C1 at Big Willow, Corvette C3 Convertible at Grand Valley South, and Corvette Concept Racer at Watkins Glen Short. The C1 & C3 road cars are to be ran Stock. As of Racer I am allow quality of life upgrades only. Because this is a difficult car to drive. Adding the custom manual trans is highly recommended. Because default the trans is too narrow.

Oh right and I will be adding a week for the new Corvette VGTs. I intend the Corvette Open be the final week. So I'll have to move some things around at end of series. Shouldn't effect the first 3 weeks.

What are quality of life upgrades? To me that would include suspension.

To clarify the Corvette Stingray Concept Racer already has a full suspension. I'm allowing a Full LSD, Brake Balance, and a Custom Manual Trans to be added. No other performance maybe upgrades added. I found I good setting for the trans I can post then. Oh this race is going to require pitting. I'm considering changing it to a 2 stop race.

The transmission raises PP then the LSD lowers it a little, I do not recall if it's the same as OEM

The Corvette Festival will also my flexible points system. Which adjust scores based on field size. Though unlike the Group C league. All races for the Corvette Festival are about the same length. And will all scored the same standard x1 value. Because I'm aware not everyone can make every week or can run all 3 races each week. So only the driver's best 14 of the 21 races count towards their championship score. Once a driver get to the 14 race score cap. They can only gain points by besting a previous score. And will only earn what that previous score was bested by.

Oh only 5 days left until the start of the Corvette Festival Fall League.

Only 4 days left until the first week of Corvette Festival Fall League. I've decided to change the race order for Week 7. So that we end at Grand Valley Highway 1. As a bit of a nostalgic reference the first Gran Turismo title. Also with the many references I made to the Corvette's history. I've made quite a few references classic Gran Turismo reference in this league as well. Like the C2 One-Make being at Trial Mountain is no coincidence.

11/15/25, Week 7 Corvette Open
Race 1, Corvette Open, Willow Springs Streets Reverse
Race 2, Corvette Open, SSRX
Race 3, Corvette Open, Grand Valley Highway 1

Yeah, I don't know about all of that stuff, I just hope these cars race better on Comfort Tires than they practice, practice involves a lot of misery and dull times.

What can't handle 243 hp on Comfort Mediums? Welcome to tire grip of yesterday. Tires grip gets better with era.

What I am saying is I hope that the others enjoy the very low grip and very slow cornering speeds. It doesn't matter if I like it or not, I have the choice to do something else but it kinda sucks for you if nobody likes it. I don't think many play racing games to go slow. There's nothing wrong with slower cars, the problem comes in when they don't race well, early indications from where I stand is that the comforts are not going to race well.

I'm aware nobody showing up is always a possibility. Believe it or not there is market for slow car racing and historic car racing. I mean the Group C league did a lot better than I expected. And I wouldn't consider those cars easy to drive. Plus you wanted a One-Makes series. And 18 of the 21 races are that. And then the last week is a mostly unrestricted Corvette tuning challenge.

😅😅😅 So this is my fault and I asked for it. I guess you are one of those evil genies, I say I wish I was rich beyond my wildest dreams and after you grant my wish I find out my name is now Rich.

Well I wanted to run a Corvette league for a bit but, it felt empty a C5 representative. Though I could have chosen a simpler ways to do this league. Then I remembered someone kept requesting a one-make series. What I'm most worried about is the time frame the races. Am I starting the to early that players won't make the 1st race. Or am I starting to late the players won't want to stay for race 3. Will players be too tired run the 3rd race. What to if a race runs to late into the following races practice.

P.S. I've yet to find that wishes actually work but, if anything changes let me know.
