Hi guys.


I'm looking at hosting a race event this sunday (17/4/11) (maybe about 20:00 British Summer time, I can't start any later).

Track: Deep Forest
Cars: Group C cars (years:88,89,90)
Regs: All aids accept abs off, 1000bhp cap, any tyres allowed, Full damage, Weak punishments (strong is abit too strong).
Race length: 30min qualifying, 60lap race.

Clean driving rules, If someone is passing you, don't hit them off the road, its the person passings responsibility to keep it clean however. I don't mind abit of argy bargy aslong as no one is compromised by it (no hitting people off track).

Any questions you have just ask.

If interested then please post in this thread. With you PSN and also make sure that you have either befriended me. Also in your post could you please specify the car/cars you are intending to use/choose from, this is so I can make sure everyone turns up with a legible car.

nice idea as i like grp C cars.
However i cant drive them competively and clean with FF and sim settings (kudos to you if you can!).
Another Thing is that Grp C cars and a Track like Deep Forest (as Nordschleife is also overkill with these cars) do not fit from my point of view.
Whats with maybe Suzuka or GP/F or Sarthe

You can take Deep Forest quite fast actually, you don't need to slow down much for the corners. I had the idea when I was running the euro champs in a group c car. You don't have any time to relax, you have to be on it 100% of the time.
 
ok, ill give it a try. If i can handle them until sunday without wrecking everybody else i might join. I think though that i cant surpass the simulation settings with these monsters for a while.
 
cant participate. not able to handle the monsters correctly for now :(
