I am used to drifting on GT:3 with the sim tires. I know a lot of you are not, this is just my prefernece, if you don't like it, that's fine.

Well, I want a set-up for GT:4 that feels like the sim tire set-up for GT:3. I have read through most of the set-ups listed and noticed that a lot of them are using sports tires. I doubt this will give me the effect I am looking for though :(

any help on how to get a GT:4 set-up that feels like the GT:3 sim tire set-up will be much appreciated.

sim tires had the lowest coefficient of friction of all the compounds in GT3
so....use the tires with the lowest coefficient of friction in GT4
N1 tires

of course, they arent going to feel the exact same. The physics engine has been updated to feel more lifelike, particularly the tire load modelling - and sim tires in GT3 were incredibly UN-lifelike.

thank you for the input. I'll go ahead and search around a bit more and see what I find ;)

edit: btw, I love your avatar 👍

I like GT4, at least no more Simulation Tires, use the most realistic tires to drift, i usually drift with Confort Tires (N2).
