Since 1.12 update, I can't access Gt5.

The games loads, the initial movie plays, then at the first MENU it gets stuck.

There is now pointer to choose or move to the items. I have removed the Game data and re-installed it including the update again.

Any ideas. I have two controllers and Driving Force wheel connected.

Does it care about the bluetooth player remote or PLAYTV connected?

Removed all USB devices and I could get GT5 to load now. I completed a MINI seasonal event then it got stuck at the silver GT logo.

Anyone else getting random freezes since 1.12 update?💡

I get those often but i think my problem is the internet, when i sign out of psn everything works , so it may have to do with your connection speed.

I get these from time to time. They're really frustrating and I have to end the game and then restart. I had it happen happen most recently with the Mini seasonal just like you said, stuck on the silver logo screen.

All I can advise it don't click on anything while it seems to be loading. What I mean is if you select something, give it time to get operational before clicking on another thing.

I had the freezing problem when I was collecting cash from my RR Bobs because I was trying to cash them in while their details were still loading up and trying to exit them while the auto save feature was in progress. Perhaps if you turn off the auto save it may help somewhat, and racing through menu screens won't help either.

Hope that helps. 👍

Hi, Make sure the disc is clean (polish with a DVD disc cleaner) and that the laser lens on your player is clean too. Use a DVD lens cleaning disc and run it a few times. Try that... Have fun.

The only time I've ever had my game load anything slow was when I've been connected to PSN and my internet starts to slow down. If I notice the game hang on a menu, or get stuck at the silver GT logo for a little bit I just sign out if PSN and everything is back up to speed.

Yes, I think it's trying to grab info from the Internet causing it to wait between screens. It started working OK again in the afternoon... Cheers Planeteer's
