GT 6 and the Nurburgring (or other tracks) as a learning tool.

Let me first start off by saying that this is a serious thread. I'm looking for feedback from people who either use GT4\5\6 or Forza as an actual method of trying to learn various real world tracks. All input is welcomed as long as it stays on topic. I REALLY look forward to hearing from those and who have been there and done that in real life.

I used GT4 and GT5 to learn the Nordschleife before I went along with Porsche to race the VLN for 3 years...

I also use iracing alot for all the US tracks and some EU tracks to learn ... for the firt porsche carrera cup race this year at zandvoort , in the first race i finished 5th. thank u iracing

I heard that iracing is very good. I have not tried it yet. What are the top 1-3 things that stand out to you about it compared to the GT series?

How does GT6 compare to real life and iRacing?
Eurogamer review said physics/handling is as good as iRacing, true or not?

i pre ordered gt6 on amazon and it was supposed to be delivered yesterday, friday... however still haven't got it.
So i suppose monday will be the day that ill get it.

Looking forward running the SLS AMG GT3 which i raced this season aswell and the Bilstein R8 GT3 too

hey Chris, when you have a chance to play the game and go out on the Nurburgring will you give us your two cents on whether the game footage in this thread is even possible? I don't believe that cars really behave this way in real life. Me and a couple other guys are saying it's BS but no one has offered a compelling argument to say otherwise.
