I am competing i gt academy and i have won a nissan lea after golding all the leaf events. Now im on the silvia, and im curious, will the new cars have better stats than their ragular counterparts of be like the other academy cars and be 5kg heavier? I will report once im finished with the silvia.

As of right now , no one has figured a way to get the Prize cars into GT5...

1) Nothing to do with Drag Racing.

2) The cars are identical to their counterparts in the game, only difference at the GT Academy logos on the doors/hood.

Also i feel it does have something to do with drag personally. 5kg can affect launches for better or worse, so these cars may be used on the leaderboards. See the 09 vspec academy version, its slower due to its 5 extra kg. if these cars are faster maybe their worth taking a look at, actully even if they are slower also.

Nothing about it is on the website. So this means it is unknown. Time will tell. Patience is a virtue.
