Come on give us a GT Academy in Canada.
I just tried the US GT Academy round 1-1 track/car combo and beat the fastest time I could find in the US by 0.1 Sec! (Took me 5 laps to make the top 40 and 15 to beat the fastest lap)
We need Academy in the Great White North Eh!

Haha there were 3 combos so which one did you try? Also did you do it online or offline?
Oh and, as much as I hate this statement, pics/video or it didn't happen.
Overall I think everyone deserves a gt academyITS AWESOME!
I did round 1-1. So the Tsubuku Track with the 370Z (Z34)
I did a 1:04.816.....best I can find on the GT Academy listing is a 1:04.994.
Tell me how to save a vid of the lap and I'll do it for you.
I can run consistent 1:05.2s using a DFGT with TCS off, tires were Sport Hard and the ABS was at 1. Steering help off etc.
Tell me how to save a vid of the lap......

The tires in round 1 at tsukuba were either comfort mediums or hards I'll check when I get home from work (I replicated the car so I could practice with friends). The car felt like it was on skates. But good times nonetheless
I ran on whatever the car came with when I bought it....they were hard.....don't know if it was comfort or sport.....I know they were hards though.
Please do check, I want to make a worthwhile comparison......
I haven't tried any online racing or anything so I'm more just really curious how I stack up driving wise.
I'm looking forward to playing again this evening!! Only had the game for about 3 or 4 weeks.

The stock tires for the 370Z is actually Comfort Soft and that was also the tires used for the first round at Tsukuba. The difference between the Comfort Soft (N3) and Sport Hard (S1) is about 1 to 2 seconds (depending on the track) for every minute.
And for the GT Academy TT, the cars are completely stock with no option do fiddle with the setup.

Nice man, no problem. Yeah the tires were much worse than what it came with unfortunately. Also, the offline physics are MUCH different than online physics, so if you want a true comparison do this:
Open your lounge
Tsukuba (obviously)
Tire wear and gas drain OFF
damage OFF
Off track REAL
I'll give you the tire combo tonightBest of luck and have fun! My time was a 1:05.8 and I made it outa round 1 with time to spare. So go beat it!
OK....So I did all that....
Ran a 1:05.134 on my third lap.
Confirmed that the tires on the car are Sport Hard and they are what came with the car because I haven't changed anything and the car was new.
I didn't notice any difference in the physics? Seemed pretty much identical to me.
Can someone confirm the tires that were used in the Academy Round 1-1?
Rob
They should give our localized version of a GT academy, where we can drive on Snow Covered Tarmac filled with Potholes, roadblocks, and traffic jams 200m before the Pit entry.
