I'm so sick of seeing that there's a new piece of news :D then realising it's about GT-Academy :(

Basically, Is it possible to (to generically word it) 'uncheck' the tag for GT-Academy? (So that the articles don't show up).

Here's hoping. ;)

Whatkind news you want?
Maybe weather forecast

You are in GTPlanet 👍

This currwnt trend of hating the news feed is stupid.
Dont click the article. Simple.

IMO.
News regarding the following but not limited to:
PD- development stages- restructuring- etc
GT- obviously any news regarding current past and future titles
Kaz- race results etc
Gt academy- any news regarding the competition and its past winners real life achievements.
Gtplanet announcements

All of these are GT related. What would the point of GTA be if media outlets were not promoting either the competition or the winners. Having news about them should build excitement about the gran turismo branding. Likewise for stories of Kaz on the track.

Basically keep it as is. If you dont like it, dont read the article. Your not going to find a super secret message about gt6 or gt:psv or tourist trophy 2 buried within an article.

I personally do not follow a ton of racing. But i do read the news articles here.
Why: those drivers most likely would not be in the position they are in now if it wasnt for GT. ( i know, they all obviously have a vast knowledge of racing technique and it wasnt the game that made them as good as they are)

Just for you:

Guys, why not just answer the OP's question?

To OP, I don't think there is a way to "uncheck the academy tag"

There is no way to exclude a given category from being displayed on the home page, but you can click on any of the blue category links (displayed in light blue below each headline) and bookmark those pages if you only wish to see that content.

Thanks for your help; but I wouldn't bother trying to tell these people something sensible, it's liking talking to an ignorant brick wall (once they get going). :)
