I'm using a F090/S and I'm on the Test course and its hard i cant KEEP 1st i go from 2nd to 1st alot and i cant put enuf space between me and the second place car which right now is a Esperante GTR1......man this **** is pissing me off . The F090/S doesn't have that high of a top speed not enuf to race on the tes course.......man well i gotta get back to fighting for second....aint that a ***** i hafta fight for second cuz that damn F1 dont have enuf top speed. :(

just skip the test course w/ your f1. You will die. The f1 can never get a good top speed. Skip that one do it later w/ a different car.

I would but its a series race.........i think i can get 1st if u draft u gain speed and u can go around them but not fro very long u hafta time it just right.......i just hafta time it better i have 5 more laps right now taking a little break......but then gotta get back to it

its up to you, u can skip races in a series tho....just press start > quit. And you quit the race. Not the entire series.

yes, piece of cake.
Just win the other races and you'll win the championship.
Then drive the test course race seperately with an Escudo or something like that:)

finish the series first. Then go back and finish it up. I usually do only 7 races of 10 in series.

You could always try blocking. I always do that when the car I'm using isn't as fast as the fastest car. Just draft him, then pull directly in front of him. Use the look back button to block him from passing you. If he manages to pull alongside, ram him into the outside wall and he should go into a slide 😈 . It's dirty, but hey..........

Whenever i get in the lead on the Test Course, i always drive on the inside of the track, so the cars behind me can't get my slipstream. :)

Have you changed the gear ratios? Just widen them for the Test Course. And you're using an F1 car for the All Star series? Seems way too easy to me, but it's up to you how to play it.

I never had any problem using the any of the F1 cars on the Test Course on the GT All Stars championship.

viper: on the Test Course by itself? No; not much skill needed for that track, so an F1 wouldn't pose much of an ethical problem there. But it sounded to me that he's using it for the series. I could have mis-read, though.

Laughing at myself for GT3 ethics.

same problem. same car. its just not powerful enough in 6th gear, the speed just decreases after a while. you should use drafting and keep fighting for 1st place, but, by the last lap you should be able to catch up to the guy in last place, go behind whatever car that is trying to get first place, use drafting and go in front of him, and then get in the slipstream of the guy in 6th place, and youll be able to go fast enough and get far away from the guy behind you. but this maneuver is trickier than it sounds

I'm same as viper_maniac :

Just remember to get in the Slip Stream. Basically if your grouped with other cars get behind them. As in Nascar you will benefit from reduced air force pushing against your car. :gcar:

When Ready to overtake get right along side your rival, as close as possible without touching, this sucks you along and pass them.

Also Don't pit, this will give you a major advantage...:rotfl:

Catch u later.....hope this helps

Azn- I won't just go echo what the others have said, but I do have a request from you... please don't use so many exclamation marks/question marks in your topic names. The "Best Car????etc." topic has so many question marks that I have to scroll side-to-side to see the entire page. Thanks. ;)

alright Youth i wont use as many from now on.....i do draft but by the time i get to the finish line he's already past and i cant keep 1st. I try to block him but it dont work as well as it coudl i guess maybe i just dont block as well.....i think i already have put the ratios as high as they will go.....i think i'm not sure but i didn't save on that race so i'll have to do when i paly again any way so thanx for the help!!!!

Okay, thanx. :)

btw, as Troy said, you can go ahead and quit the race, unless you wish for a 100% winning ratio, which almost no1 has anyway. If you want to try blocking, use 1st person view, since you will have a rearview mirror (when using 3rd person view, you can only see the car when they're right at your a$$, so it doesn't work too well).

Good luck! (btw, why'd you re-register?)

I never worried about the slip stream stuff. I jumped out in the lead by half way through the first lap and slowly pulled away from them all the rest of the race. I finished damn near 20 seconds or somewhere close.

On the bottom of page 1, your screen name is Azn Abyss 952, and you have 2 posts. For the rest of this thread, your screen name is AznAbyss86, with 40-something posts...

BTW, as troy stated, the AI usually isn't smart enough for the slipstream... however, occasionally they are. It really depends on how grouped together they are. For example, in the Like the Wind Race, I had a Toyo GT1, and *surprise* my competitor was a GT1, so we continuously switched places via slipstream... luckily though, my tires hung out..

Oh the reasont hat happened was bcuz when i registered the first time i clicked the wrong link so they thought i was under 13 or whatever so i re registered and clicked the right link....it was my mistake i read wrong when i was registering my faulght

Oh, eye cee... I've done that before myself. :o Not on GTPlanet, but I've accidentally registered as under 13, but luckily I got the admin to change it for me.

How's the race goin'? :)

To get the 100% met: Go to all the Series races with the 787B. enter the individual race at the Test Course. Decimate all. Then when lyou come back and enter the series you can skip over the Test Course.
As has been said you can win the series with 7 wins out of ten.
