how in the world do you get first on this? i tried with a few cars and i could not get gold on the first race. i tried a fully tuned mclaren f1 which i got destroyed with. so then i try a fully tuned RM vette z06 and i still get destroyed. i then try a bugatti and i kept up and was 1st for the 1st 4 laps until the last lap where everybody just magically caught up to me and i finished 6th. how do you beat this?

Seems like the consensus I've found...and what worked for me is:

Start doing B-spec and beat the NA-whatever thing...it's level 6 and you're racing all Miatas. With the concept Mazda beating that rewards you...you can beat the "like the wind" series. With the reward beating that gives you...you can beat the all stars event.

Note: with the Mazda, to beat the "like the wind" series...go into your aerodynamics and increase the down-force to the highest setting, and change your gearing so that you can achieve a top speed of around 230mph.

It's still not the easiest win in the world...but you should be able to do it reasonably quick.
 
yeah i found out about that, i was hoping thered be another way.... i guess not. leveling up bspec drivers is so annoying as they are so stupid and slow.

I know what you mean...kind of sucks...but just do it while you're doing something else. It prob takes about 2 hours from start to getting there.
 
Win "Like The Wind" first with the ZR-1 RM and you win the Minolta Race Car which will handle the GT All Stars with ease.
