GT by Citroen Concept reverses at warp speed

Not sure if this is news to anyone but me...

However, I discovered last night that the Citroen GT concept goes as fast in reverse as it does moving forward. I got that momma up to 200 MPH...in reverse! đź’ˇ

I knew it had more to give but steering stability is a bit of an issue...

I know that someone here with some talent (more talent than I have) can beat the Sunday Cup going backwards. And if you are that someone, please upload the video to youtube.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the single drive gear.
 
Batman would drive that car i swear it is a race car version of the tumbler.

I would love to drive it but the cockpit view is so tiny, i mean i can barely see the track out the window lol. Sweet looking car though, and funny as all heck that it can do 200 mph in reverse lol.
 
Same thing happens in GT5:P. It has no reverse gear; as long as the engine can keep pulling and drag is low enough (which coincidentally rises with speed), then the car will keep accelerating.
 
In gtpsp I got it up to 270MPH backwards on the test course. But there is no way it would be able to do the Sunday cup because it's really easy to spin it.
 
Does this apply to the race car version also? I'd check but in the middle of a B-spec race.

hahaha that reverse kart video made my night. Something like that should net quadruple XP, minimum :p

Perhaps we need to get an an online reverse-only racing league started.

If you're in bumper mode, you can just hold the L1 button and driving in reverse becomes driving forwards.
 
Remember when everybody thought that kart video was a glitch before the game was even out. Now everyone loves it.
 
Happened since GT5P.

And LOL to the reverse winning Kart. Man, people have nothing to do. " ...this game is sooo short in content. What do I do now? Oh, I know: I´m gonna start racing in reverse..."
 
The Acura DN-X goes faster when stalled and not touching the brakes, it reverse by itself and can go up to 400km/h !!
