That's really good. We should be able to add to this.

The last one made me really

First big laugh of the day.

There must be a lot more of these - just remember to drive clean. ;)

GT5 random racing online in a nutshell. :dopey:

"Remember, the car is heavy" really means "I can't believe you're attempting this with the controller and not a wheel!!"

I've said that myself when being too polite & not wishing to offend a slower driver.

Here's another one;

What is said; Your car was really lagging in that last race!
What is actually meant; Sorry I punted you off & didn't wait.

lol , i would never do that :scared:

First one is the old Notorious Early Braker.

Either a driver who is very timid into a tough corner will "Slow in Slow out" so as not to play about in the sand trap/ granite rock face on the corner exit.

Being hit from behind was almost like a badge of honour in a pick up race.

Was it you being a slowpoke... or Was the guy (girl) behind not paying attention. (Prepare for Ramming speed!)

Nice set of quotes as racing tends to have two drivers who have two very different ideas of who was at fault for any given problem. But the "PR for the cameras" is nice too.

Maybe GT6 will have a Coulthard Vs $chumacher at Spa or a Piquet Vs Salazar at Hockenhiem post crash fight sim (Street Racer Fighter 2 turbo?)

What is said :- Oh you run ABS 1.
What is actually meant:- Next you'll tell me you have a chauffeur in the car to do all that troublesome steering lark, too.

Ryk

Not true. Both drivers nearly always agree on what went wrong: it was the Other Guy's(or Girl's) Fault. :)

Another I've often seen:

What is said :- That is a very tricky car to drive.
What is actually meant :- You are not a good enough driver for that thing, and should really consider slowing down and staying out of the way around people who can handle their cars instead of causing the 5 incidents you just did.

And one that I am given a lot(completely unrelated, I swear):

What is said :- You're not slow, you're just not quite as fast as we are.
What is actually meant :- Well, you're a bit better than the rolling chicanes, but you're still slow as hell.

What is said: Sorry, mate! Didn't mean to do that!
What is actually meant: Finally got you back, you 🤬

What is said: Yeah, you drive good, man.
What is meant: What are you doing here?

What is said: I haven't played, in like, forever.
What is meant: Damn, I still suck.
