I think we can all agree that the A-spec mode in this game doesn't hold a candle to what we have got to enjoy in the past GT games. But I think one of the biggest problems with "GT Life" depreciation of vehicles. We know there are over a 1000 vehicles, but it hardly feels like it. I mean the whole idea of the campaign in GT is basically you're supposed to from rags to riches. Start off slow, and end it with a bang. GT5 hardly does it like this, in fact you can own some very expensive cars quite early in the game, and what that results in is a loss of appreciation for those cars. No longer is a McClaren F1 all that special if everybody can easily obtain one.

I think changes need to be made for GT life GT6:
-Get rid of experience, they do nothing but promote grinding.
-Either get rid of B-spec, or include it into A-spec for limited races
-The special events make A-spec too easy because the huge pay outs make you able to buy some very expensive cars very early into the game. Make so that the special events unlocked for you are appropriate to where you are in A-spec, and prizes from them should not be so much that they make A-spec easy.
-The cash pay out for the races should be enough to the point you don't have to do much grinding, but not too much to the point where you can go out and buy everything you need. You should always have to make choices.
-Have enough events/races to utilize the large car list the game has. You should really go from rags to riches. The current system virtually cuts out 100s of cars that will always be over looked because they are never "needed."
-Introduce proper restrictions for the events. You should not be able to enter a Veyron into a hot hatch competition. Have power/weight/PP limits where ever possible.
-The prize cars should be special. Either have stealth or chrome liveries for all prize cars that come in various random colors. That way not every body gets the exact same prizes. They should also be appropriate to the race/progression. Why do you unlock the Veyron half way through A-spec?

Arcade:
-Like in the older games, make it where arcade starts off with a limited garage. Give a set of challenges for arcade, and when you complete the set, a new set is unlocked along with a new set of cars. Make it so you can unlock all 1000+ cars in arcade.

As long as it's completely optional and I could just press a button and unlock it all, then sure.

This whole idea of unlocking and "making cars special" just makes no sense to me. Rarity means nothing. A car is either good or it isn't. You can't change that by making it hard to find or a pain to get.

Likewise, this whole work your way up concept is useless. Supposedly, GT has great racing. That's what we're suppose to enjoy. Being stuck in a trash wagon and waiting weeks to get a race car just spoils it all. If someone wants to do that, I won't stop them. But if I had to go through that, I wouldn't be happy at all. If GT5 had half of things on your list I'd probably just sell it. It would have no value because I wouldn't be able to take my duped up save file online and just race.

Though a good compromise would be ditching Arcade all at once and replacing it with Simulation Mode, where GT acts like a sim. So GT Mode would be buying and whatever, and Sim Mode would just be cars and racing. Online extending from Sim Mode.
