Gt lifer

Hey folks. I've spent long enough look at this forum thought I'd sign up.
I consider myself a lifer cuz I've been playing gt almost all my gaming life since gt1 (wonder if someone could tell me the release date of gt1) and I'm 28 now so like many of you a long time player.
Always been a dualshock user right up till last year when gt5 was gettin closer( I'm sure we all remember,every new release date that came and went and new one was set as the excitement grew ect ect) to calm me down a bit got my self a DFGT. Awsome got some practice in on prolog then on to gt5.
Only thing that bothers me now is after playing all the gt's with the dualshock now after using the only on gt5 I can no longer use the controller to any kind of respectable standard. Anyone else find this ?

Yeah, about the controller, dude I just got my DFGT a few months ago and now I cannot get around the track anywhere remotely close to the times I can achieve with the wheel. I couldnt even get the X1 around a single turn with the DS3. I dont know what it is, maybe the wheel spoils you, not sure.

Either way, glad your intro thread made it out of the congressional committee and onto the message boards, lol.

Yeah me too wasn't sure about joining up slot of these guys seem very serious like I'm gona get shouted at for spelling things rong ha ha. Loving gt5 tho
Seem to find it much harder to look after my tyres on the longer races with the ds3 to Not to mention it's almost no fun without the DFGT
