GT Live 2006 - Virginia International Raceway

I figured I'd launch this thread to give you the chance to chat about this year's GT Live event at Virginia International Raceway in Alton(?), VA. The website is here:

This is actually the return of GT Live since 2004 when the (then) JGTC had an All-Star race at California Speedway. It was America's first taste of the drama and excitement of Super GT. While the Super GT series isn't even done with its current season, this year's race will be devoted mostly to Grand-Am Cup action. In addition to Grand-Am Cup action, there will be drifting, kart racing, track attack, and much more. The official GT Live lady is the beautifully hot Mayumi Matsuda.

This thread is basically the thread I would like to use to chat about this year's GT Live action. So if you head out to VIR (as if you're not bummed out over Petit Le Mans) and seen the action for yourself, feel free to share your experience there. Should be a pretty fun event. GT Live 2006 should be a pretty fun deal. Care to chat about this event at VIR? Make some replies and let's keep this bad boy moving.

Doesn't look like its really my type of event but, if anyone from GTPlanet is going I'd sure like to see some pics and maybe the odd video of the GAC event(s) as it(they) won't be broadcasted. Not sure if it is one twelve-hour or two six hours. I recall reading something that said it would be two six hours with each class racing their own event do to field sizes.
