General Information/Rules
The GT-MES is a 8-race weekly series including cars from the Gr.2 and Gr.3 classes, competing in 40-minute endurance races. The Gr.2 class is scheduled as the „Pro“-class with the fastest drivers and the Gr.3 class is scheduled for „gentlemen drivers“ who want to enjoy the driving and not to push it to the limit every lap. As missing races is very likely, only points from 5 best finishes will count for the championship. Thanks to @sota59 and Keyboard there are also small money-’’rewards’’ for titles, see more in the end.

While balance of performance will be off, all cars will have manually adjusted power/weight settings. After a race, point and weight adjustments will be distributed to the drivers, with more of each going to the higher-placed competitors. A maximum of 2 drivers can race with the same car manufacturer per class, and manufacturer can only appear in one class.

NEW SEASON STARTS!

More powerful Gr2 cars, new tracks, new drivers, money prizes and more.
4th season starts this Saturday, opening round being yet again in Germany, Nurburgring.

Gr2 champion from S3, sota59 defends his title with Honda. He is not known to be the fastest guy around, but has won already 3 titles due consistency. His Honda team is looking for 3rd teams title, and rookie jonirune91 is hoping to be key part of that. He is not favorite going into Round 1, but could suprise.
AMS_RacerTay returns for 2nd season in Lexus. His first season was cut short, but now he is ready for strong push for title. ''Lil Tay'' has also now huge AMS-team support with him. Lexus-team also has rookie completing their line-up, Squeakers. He is know to be strong driver, and should be able to fight for top spot.
But maybe biggest favorite for Gr2 title is Vitmng in Nissan, coming from strong Gr3 debut season, and great results in other series. He is going to miss opening round, but should, and will be there in the end for title. Nissan is looking badly for 2nd driver.

Gr3 has strong field. Season 3 champion xZePhyR96x is looking for 2nd title, this time in Audi. He entered last season late, and missed opening round in here, but will be strong. His teammate in Audi is Ninja_Karma from France. He is not rookie, having made his race-debut last season in Monza, and winning. Audi could be favorite for title.
BMW has star-driver in Nils. Season 2 Gr4 champion, new GT-MES Offseason champion and lot other titles in other series. He came just short on Gr2 title last season, but after move from Gr2 Honda to Gr3 BMW, he should be full of motivation. Emilius_73 completes BMW line-up. Mexican is full of energy, but needs to turn that to consistency to get results. He has raced few races in S1 and S2, and showed some speed. Could be dark horse in same races, and help BMW for manufactures title.
Jamrit returns for his 2nd season, this time in Porsche. He is not in favorites going in to Round 1, but like Emilius, could bring some strong results. He also is looking for teammate in Porsche.

WE HAVE STILL FEW PLACES LEFT!
PM me or Nilsemann for entry.

SEASON CONTINUES IN AUSTRIA!

First round, after long break, was exciting in Germany.
Now week later in Red Bull Ring, some drivers are looking for repeat result from last weekend, improve or maybe make season debut.

Gr2 race last weekend continued in similar fashion like Season 3 did end. sota59 took his 4th straight victory, while for Honda it was 13th win in a row. Race was not total walk in the park though, coming from back after accident with teammate, and having great wheel to wheel racing with AMS_RacerTay, who finished 2nd. Lexus-man lead race for half of the race, but tire-strategy and setup error made him to settle for runner-up spot in the end.
jonirune91 took early lead, but couple small accidents cost him time, and in the end finished 3rd. Showed in his debut speed to fight with top guys.
Other rookie MehSqueakers, in Lexus had hard race, but fixed setup and lack of ticks should bring him to battle too.
Vitmng in Nissan is set to make his debut in RBR, and as stated in last weekends preview, maybe biggest favorite for title-run. He, like MehSqueakers has lack of ticks, so dont be suprised if he runs away with it from start.

Gr3 win in Nurburgring went to surprise, surprise, to Nils. He had easy race, and starts season with 18 points. BMW not only took a win, but 1-2, after Emilius_73 had strong return to series, and finished 2nd. Mexican did not challenge his teammate, but was not expected to. He is looking to continue his strong form and another strong result in Austria.
In Audi camp, Ninja_Karma had accident with Emilius_73 in start, and did not have speed to catch up after falling back. He will miss this weekends race, but should return stronger in Round 3.
Jamrit in Porsche was not in speed last time out, but could bounce back, and take podium in Austria.
Last seasons Gr3 champ xZePhyR96x is expected to make his season debut this weekend. He should put up a real fight to Nils with his Audi.

WE HAVE STILL FEW PLACES LEFT!
PM me or Nilsemann for entry.

Third round in Saint Croux!

Season continues in France, long circuit of Saint Croux.
Even B - 11 version of the track is over 7km long.
Some drivers have started their season great, but some are looking for better result to turn their season.

Gr2 was won last time out, surprise surprise, by Vitmng. Nissan-man made his debut in Austria after missing first round, and took deserving win. He had solid lead for most of the race, but sota59 in Honda was not that far behind in second. Championship leader was there all the way, but did not risk important 14 points. Honda had 2 cars on podium, as jonirune91 again took 3rd place. He did not have speed to match his teammate, but was able to secure podium spot even after spin.
Lexux had awful race. racertay was leading again after start, but risky strategy and mistakes relegated him 4th in the end. Still looking for that first win. His teammate Squeakers is looking for first podium. Rookie was lot faster than in first round, but was 5th close behind his teammate.
New entry TNR_FILO will make his debut in Nissan. Could be wildcard in top, and help Nissan gain back some important points.

Gr3 win in RBR did go to xZePhy96x, regaining Gr3 champion, also making his season debut. Audi-man had accident start of the race, but powered himself to quite easy win. Will be interesting, if he is as strong this weekend.
Winner from first round, Nils was on different strategy, and even after leading for bit, fall back quickly with his BMW, and took safe and sound second place.
His teammate Emilius took another podium. He lead in start, but could not fight with top dogs with damaged car. Strong start to the season tho, eases pressure on him, but have to put strong fight agains Ninja_Karma. He missed last round, but is known to have speed. Could take big result for Audi.
Jamrit also missed last round, and is looking to make strong return.

WE HAVE STILL FEW PLACES LEFT!
PM me or Nilsemann for entry.

Season hits midway in Italy!

This weekend we race in Italy, in short version of Lago Maggiore
Only 4km long, and highspeed circuit means lot of lapping for top class.
Season is coming to midway, some need to get results to comeback to race for titles, others can already take it easier, waiting for season finale in Le Mans.

Gr2 has seen 3 different winners, in first 3 races. Last time out jonirune91 took his first win, and has entered title fight. This win also was 2nd of the season for Honda, pulling them clear in manufacturer championship.
Vitmng was 2nd in France. He did not feature in fight for win, and was even having his hands full to keep his 2nd place, but mistake free run gave him important 14 points. Hard time for him was giving sota59 in Honda. Points leader was in tense fight with Vitmng, but going for final laps, made mistake and had to settle with 3rd.
Squeakers was in fight with these guys in start, but several mistakes for Lexus man made him finish 4th.
New Nissan man TNR_FILO was on fire in his debut. He took pole, and hold small lead on jonirune91. But sadly technical problem caused him to DNF. He is going to miss next 2 rounds, and is out of the drivers title-race, but should return strong, and help Nissan to title.
AMS_RacerTay missed last race, but is still in title race.

Gr3 win went again to Audi's xZePhy96x. He has started his title defence strong, 2 wins from his 2 races. Not too far behind was current points leader Nils. He has started season strong, but needs to start winning races, or his rival xZePhy96x will remain unbeaten. BMW took again double podium, as Emilius was 3rd. Mexican will miss Italian-round, but has started season strong.
Ninja_Karma and Jamrit have missed last 2 rounds, need to get back with result, absent of Emilius might be helpful with that.
Robbo Racer is latest entry, and is set to make his debut with VW. Can he challenge Nils and xZePhy96x?

WE HAVE STILL FEW PLACES LEFT!
PM me or Nilsemann for entry.

Midseason challenge in Barcelona!

GT-MES goes this weekend on new track in Catalonia.
Season has hit midseason mark, and you can already see drivers that will be there in title fight in few weeks.
But everyone has still chance to catch leaders, as some drivers are hitting their 5-race mark, some are just going to their 1st-3rd race of the season. They just need to take part in all remaining races, to have chance to join party.

Gr2 action has been interesting. Current point leader is sota59 in Honda. Regaining champion started season with win in Germany, and took important points with 2nd in Austria. Quick pace in Saint Croux was wasted after couple mistakes, but was able to stay on podium with 3rd place. He was leading in Italy after rivals mistake, but lacked pace, and had to settle with 2nd place. sota59 needs win again to keep his lead in championship in long run.
His rookie teammate jonirune91 started season as dark horse. He took 3rd place in Germany after accident, and another 3rd place in Austria. In Saint Croux he entered title fight with his first win, but fell to 3rd again in Italy. Solid start to season, but needs another win to keep up with his teammate.
Nissan's Vitmng started season as favorite, but missed first round in Germany. He made his season debut in Austria, and took max points with win. His pace was slower in next round in Saint Croux, but was able to take important 2nd place. Vitmng took his second win of the season in Italy, even after scary mistake. is 3rd in points currently, but will catch up when he hits his 5-race mark.
AMS_RacerTay in Lexus is another driver known to be able to fight for title. He was leading in season opener, but setup and tyre issue dropped him to 2nd in the end. Tyre issues continued in next round in Austria, and mistakes dropped him out from podium after starting race strong. He has missed last 2 rounds, and needs couple strong results to enter title run. He is low on ticks, so he could be strong next few rounds.
His Lexus teammate Squeaker is also still has shot to title, but might have to settle to help his teammate in his bid. He had hard start to season in Germany, having same problems as his teammate, and falling outside podium. He improved lot in next round, but had to settle with 5th place. Saint Croux he was fighting with sota59 and Vitmng for podium spot, but mistakes dropped him away. If he learns his car better, he could steal some points from top dogs.
TNR_FILO entered season with Nissan in Saint Croux, and was leading before technical problem. He missed last round, and will miss this weekends race too, but expect strong return.

Gr3 field has been lead by former winners. Nils in BMW, S2 Gr4 champion, dropped down from Gr2, and started season as one of two favorites. Win in his home race in Germany 3rd season in a row, took him to early point lead. 2nd place in Austria and Saint Croux gave him important points, but struggled in Italy, and just about came 3rd. He is still leading championship, but needs to start winning. His car seems to be using more fuel than rivals, so he needs to find some time somewhere else.
Regaining champion xZePhyR96x in Audi was another title favorite start of the season. He missed season opener, but started his season with win in Austria, and repeated that in Saint Croux and Italy. He is second in points, but will take big lead after he hits his 5th race, unless Nils starts to fight back.
BMW's Emilius_73 started season as underdog. He took impressive 2nd place to start season, and took 3rd place in next 2 rounds. He missed last round in Italy, and needs to win his first race soon to enter title race, otherwise he needs to focus on helping his team, and teammate.
BlueXephos22 from Australia entered late with Porsche. Impressive 2nd place in his debut in Italy, suggests he could be contender for title. He needs to good results from next 4 races, and his rivals to stop winning, but very much possible.
Ninja_Karma in Audi is known to be able win races, but technical problems mean he only has one 3rd place on board. If he can escape from problems, he also can rise to fight.
jamrit and Robbo Racer both have only 4th place from their only races, but could catch back with couple wins and podiums.

Manufacturer championship is tight one. Audi took 3rd place in Germany, but have won next 3 races, and hold points lead.
Regaining champions Honda started season with win and lead, but needs to start winning to retake lead.
BMW also took win in Germany, but has fallen since then. Fuel issues needs to be overcome, to beat Audi for wins.
Nissan had no driver in first round, but have comeback with 2 wins. Outsider currently in title fight, but could win their way to fight. Le Mans-round important for them.
Lexus started season as one of the favorites, but only have one podium on board, and missing last round set them back even more.
Porsche and Volkswagen also outside the fight after missing rounds.

WE HAVE STILL HAVE ONE PLACE LEFT! You would probably be out of the title fights, but still have fun.
PM me or Nilsemann for entry.

Season continues in sunny Croatia!

Series hits this weekend Dragon Trail - Seaside track, in Croatia.
Title contenders are starting to shine from rest, Le Mans-title decider is close.

Gr2 race was again won by Vitmng in Nissan. He took quite easy win after challenge fell away in first few laps. He is set to hit 5-race mark this weekend, and take solid lead in standings.
Honda's sota59 is still in leader in points, but has to start beating Vitmng now, or has to start counting on luck. He was 2nd last time out in Spain, after accident in first corner and team tactics dropped him back.
His teammate jonirune91 was 3rd after accident dropped him from lead battle. He is starting to be out of the title fight, but will play important role in title fight for his team and teammate. Honda is leading championship, but needs to add to their win total sooner rather than later, to keep the lead.
AMS_RacerTay in Lexus is still in shot for title, but needs luck at this point to have realistic shot when series hits Le Mans.
His Lexus teammate Squeakers is out of the title fight, but could play role with few strong results.
TNR_FILO in Nissan is out of the drivers title fight, but expect him to fight for wins. He could help Nissan reach leaders in manufacturers standings with few strong results with his teammate Vitmng.

Gr3 title battle is on. Nils took win in BMW last time out, his 2nd of the season. That was clearly most important win of his GT-MES journey, after few hard races. His win was very much possible, xZePhyR96x missing race. Audi man is still favorite going to last 3 rounds, after winning 3 races his taken part in this season.
BMW's Emilius_72 needs luck to beat these two guys for title, but could atleast play important role for BMW in fight against Honda, and others.
Ninja_Karma, jamrit and Robbo Racer could also spice up fight with few strong results.

Season finishes on epic Le Mans!

GT-MES Season 4 is coming to the end in France, Le Mans.
Race is 60mins long, and gives 2x points.
All 3 titles are on the play, same 4 drivers fighting for titles as last season, but in different positions.

Gr2 title battle is between Nissan's Vitmng, and Honda's sota59.

Vitmng
ended up runner up last season in Gr3, but started season as favorite in Gr2 class. He missed season opener in Germany, but took win in his first race of the season in Austria. In Saint Croux he was off the pace, but still took solid 2nd place. He returned winning ways in Maggiore even after crashing and falling behind. Barcelona-round proved to be simple for him, taking win and maximum points. Nissan-man finished 2nd in Round 6 in Dragon Trail, but took his 4th win of the season in Fuji.
sota59 took last season his 3rd title, after winning Gr2-class with Honda. Staying with Honda for another season, he started as one of the favorites, and took impressive start with win in Germany. 2nd place in Austria gave him solid points, but accident in Saint Croux dropped him to 3rd. Maggiore he lead half of the race, but had to settle for 2nd, in Barcelona aggresive strategy did not pay off, and finished again 2nd behind Vitmng. Dragon Trail he lead from start to finish, and took important win. in Fuji he finished 3rd after team-tactics.

Vitmng needs only 2nd place to secure title, while sota59 needs to win and see his rival fall to 3rd.

Gr3 has very tight battle between Audi's xZePhyR96x and BMW's Nils.

xZePhyR96x
secured Gr3 title here last season, and goal for this season was to defend it. He missed season opener, but took win in Austria, in his first race of the season. He continued winning in Saint Croux and Maggiore. He missed Barcelona round, but returned winning ways in Dragon Trail, while settling to 2nd place in Fuji.
Nils came short in Gr2 title fight last season, has Gr4 title from Season 2, and started season as one of the favorites. He took win in his homerace in Germany, but had to settle for 2nd in Austria and Saint Croux. 3rd place in Maggiore started to bring alarms, he did not seem to be able to match Audi's pace, and BMW's fuel economy caused even bigger margin. His rival missing Barcelona-round let him to take his 2nd win of the season, but next round in Dragon Trail, he again had to settle for 2nd. But in Fuji, he was finally able to beat his rival in straight fight, and took his 3rd win of the season.

xZePhyR96x dominated most of the season, but Nils was able to take important wins, and it is winner takes all between them in Le Mans.

Manufacturer title battle has 4 potential champions going in to finale.

Regaining champion Honda in Gr2 has been consistent with 3 wins, and 2nd place from every other round.
BMW in Gr3 also has scored 3 wins, and good points in every round.
Nissan and Audi are slightly behind, after missing 1 round each, but have been strong with 4 wins.

If interested to join, PM me or Nilsemann.
