Promo 20.4.2017

GT Mixed Endurance Series is multi-class endurance series, with 40min races with Gr3 and Gr4 cars.
Gr3 is class with faster and better drivers, while Gr4 gives opportunity for slower drivers to take part.
Races are 7.00pm GMT-time, allowing North Americans and Europeans to take part.

Season 2 calendar will have 8 races, but as many cannot take part in all 8, points will only be given for drivers 6 best results.
We also allow enter with 2 or more drivers in to same entry.
Season finish will be in mighty Le Mans, 1hour race, with 2x points.

Season 2 starts this Sunday!

First race in Nurburgring, Germany.
Drivers oppotunity to set tone for rest of the season, with great result, bad result or even penalty for next race.

In Gr3 last seasons winner Racist_Eagle will be looking for win this season too, after dominating in race last season, and keeping momentum rest of the season.
His rivals for championship, Tetsu and JPNismo did not race in Nurburgring last season, so race should be lot closer this time. Tetsu only driver to stay on same car, Alfa Romeo.
Dominant champion, sota59, in Gr4, also took victory here last season, but this time racing in Gr3. Other new entry for in Gr3 is Keyboard. He has not race in series, but has shown speed, and could be wildcard for wins, maybe even for title...

As sota59 does not defend his title in Gr4, there will be new champion.
Daveodavey was runner-up in last season title fight, with 1 victory in his name from Monza round. He has new car in Mitsubishi, and is hoping to start his title run with win in Germany, after finishing 3rd last time.
Warme was 2nd in Nurburgring in Season 1, and also hoping for win start of the season, after title bid falling to many mistakes last season.
Emilius did not do full season in Gr4, but in 3 races he entered, he showed having pace for wins. He is staying with Honda, witch also lifted sota59 to dominant title in Season 1.
Worlock is new to Gr4, but not new to series. He raced in Gr3 last season, but technical problems and driving mistakes eliminated change for real results. Nils is our 2nd rookie for GT-MES, and is wildcard to watch for. He is also on 'famous' Honda.

Race 2 today in Maggiore!

Second race in Maggiore, Italy.
Some drivers missed first race, they have change to starts season on good note today, those who had bad race in Germany, can turn their luck fast starting now.

First Gr3 win of the season in Germany went to JPNismo, and his dominant Huyndai. He will be missing round 2, so door open for someone else to pick up 10 points.
Tetsu started his season with 2nd, sota59 witrh 3rd place, they have door open to improve, while drivers who missed first race, like RASIST_EAGLE, Season 1 champion or A Keyboard with his BMW, can take victory.
New entry from Gr4, Emilius can suprise, and take good result in his debut.

Gr4 winner in Germany was Nils, he is looking to dominate Gr4 race again, and take 2nd win.
Daveodavey and Warme were with him in podium in first round, and need to stop Nils from starting winning streak.
Skelerex and Warlock will hope to get podium position, and new entry Locke, is just looking clean race in his debut.

Race 4 tomorrow in Dragon Trail!

Second race in Dragon Trail, Croatia.
Last changes to enter title fight.

Gr3 class started in Germany with dominant JPNismo win with Hyundai, but missing Maggiore and mistake in Monza, RACIST_EAGLE has taken 2 wins, and leads championship. JPNismo remains favorite for win in Croatia, if gets clean race.
Sota has 3 podiums from first 3 races, and is still in title fight, but needs to start winning.
For Round 3 in Monza, we saw Tetsu and Emilius team-up, and share entry with #54 Alfa Romeo. After Tetsu's 2nd place in Germany, missed race and difficult race by Emilius in Monza, they are in backfoot for rest of the season. Win here could be big help.
Keyboard is in very difficult spot, missing 2 races and DNF in Maggiore. Title unrealistic at this spot, but could mix it up.

Gr4 has been dominated by Nils and his Honda. 3 wins, in 3 races, all from start to finish. All from start to finish. BUT he is set to miss next 2 races, and opens door for rivals.
Locke, rookie, took unlikely podiums in Maggiore and Monza and is now in postion to fight for title. He also needs to take points for Honda, and keep Alfa Romeo away.
Daveodavey was hoping for better start to season, but also has change to enter to title fight with pair of wins.
Warlock is outsider for wins, but might suprise. Warme was 2nd in Germany, but after missing next 2 races, needs to start getting results, could be favorite for win in Croatia.
Skelerex is also outsider for wins, but could steal some points from top runners.

Race 6 today in Kyoto!

First race of 2 in Japan.
After low entry Round 5 in USA, mathematically everyone is still in fight for drivers title, but if you are over 30 points from lead after today, you are out.

Gr3 class has new leader. Sota59 took his first win last round in USA, and leads championship by 4 points, but is only driver to drive in all 5 races, while others have missed 2 or more races.
RACIST_EAGLE has won all 3 races he has driven this season, but has already missed 2 races, so no room for mistakes. He starts race in backfoot, he has Drive Through penalty.
Crew #23, JPNismo and Keyboard are outsiders for title fight, but couple good results and they are in it in Le Mans.
#54 has missed 3 races already, need to win all 3 races and bit of luck to win title.

Gr4 is 2 man fight this point. Nils missed last 2 races, but still leads championship by 1 point. Daveodavey took dominant win in race 4 and entered title fight. He now needs bit of luck and show the speed he had in Croatia to catch Nils.
Other driver that was tipped to take wins while Nils is out, was Locke. He indeed took win in USA and now is 2nd in championship, 1 point behind Nils. He also helped Honda to take 10 point lead in manufacturers championship.
Skelerex struggled last season and start of this season, but now 2 podiums in row. Will miss this round.
Warlock and Werme had both impressive podium start of the season, but missed races and DNF's mean all they can do is take race by race and let other fight for title.

FINAL RACE OF THE SEASON IN LE MANS!!!!!

8th round of the season, final round of GT-MES Season 2.
1 hour special in Le Mans, with 2x points. 20 points for win. This means there is 3 drivers/crews fighting for Gr3 title, while 2 drivers for Gr4 title.
Also door is open for non-championship enteries, so lot of track action expected.
This is also last race for Gr4 cars for a while.

Gr3 class still lead by sota59. He and his Porsche did not have speed for wins start of the season, but by bit of luck and racing in all 7 races so far, he has 11 point lead. But his rivals are closer than you can imagine.
RACIST_EAGLE65 started season as favorite, as Season 1 Gr3 champion. He took 3 wins in his first 3 races with his Alfa Romeo. But missing few races means Le Mans will be only his 5th race, while leader sota has solid points from all 6 allowed races. Racist's title changes did not improve much in last race Suzuka, only finishing 3rd, behind his title rivals.
Crew #23 in Hyundai is also in title fight, 14 points behind. JPNismo started season with dominant win in first round in Germany, his Hyundai seemed to be car to beat with its dominant fuel mileage. He drafted A Keyboard to race with him, but bad luck means they only took their 2nd win in last round in Suzuka. As they have 2 drivers, other driver can drive his own non-championship entry, and spice it up.

So how will title be decided? As sota59 has points already from all 6 rounds, he can only better his scores, and will score less points than his rivals.

sota59 1st: sota59 champion
RACIST_EAGLE65 1st: RACIST_EAGLE65 champion
Crew #23 1st and sota59 3rd or less: Crew #23 champions

Crew #54 in Alfa Romeo, started season also in title in mind, Tetsu taking 2nd place in first race, drafted Emilius4477 to boost title chances, but they faded away after missed races and DNF's. They are looking to end season on highnote.

Gr4 has been dominated by PSN_Nils and his Honda. He has won all of his 5 races, and has 50 points. But as he is yet to complete 6 races, title is not yet decided.
Locke entered as rookie, lacking circuit racing experience. But even tho he has not been close to his Honda teammate PSN_Nils in speed, he has picked up points, took his maiden win, and has races in all 6 races. That means he is only 7 points behind leader, and still in reach for title. He needs bit of luck, but he has shot.

So how will title be decided?
Basically:
PSN_Nils 3rd or better: PSN_Nils champion
Locke 1st, PSN_Nils 4th or less: Locke champion

Disconnections in both fights also can decide the title.

Honda is yet to reach manufacturer title, but only very bad luck can take that away. Honda NSX Gr4 has won 11 races out of 13, now facing last race for while.
Daveodavey with Mitsubishi started season title in mind, after being 2nd in Season 1, but even tho he won race, speed has not been there, and bad luck means he is not in title fight anymore.
Skelerex5173, who struggled in Season 1, entered season late with Ford, has shown improvement, and is hoping to end season in high.
B_Loved_Warlock moved down from Gr3 for Season 2, has had high and lows with his Renault. Can take good position in Le Mans, as he has less ticks than drivers around him.
WarmeMargherita was another driver hoping for title in his 2nd season, but podium in season opener seems to be his only result, as he has been forced to miss races for technical problems.
