I won the Toyota GT-One Road car last night. Turboed it up to 1122 hp. I noticed that the full cust. suspension, and Full Racing Trans. were not purchased. Do I need to upgrade the GT-One 'stock' suspension and tranny?

What are good settings if I do?

What's this Final Drive thing anyways? Do I want it high or low?

THe extra go-fast parts will give you extra control over the car.

The final drive is a gear reduction used to multiply the torque from the transmission. This reduction must have a ratio that will allow for acceleration, and maintain a decent top speed while not over-reving the engine. Its an extra gear that allows the drive gears to be smaller than normal, to save on inertial mass

how to set it

if you need to go faster, raise the ratio. If you need to accelerate quicker, drop it. For a good balance, make sure you are in the red in your top gear at the end of the longest straightaway in the race.

TwinTurbo, Cool!! The Toyota GT1 car is one of my favorite ones. Wait till you get the Toyota GT1 Race Car, it's hp can be max out to 1350! I have one. I leave all the Racing Trany settings alone and I just lower the suspenstion "Hight" to the lowest setting only. I found out if you try to play with the suspenstion settings you lose grip on turns and so on.
