people keep talkin about gt3 online competitions but from what i know gt3 isn't availble online yet.

If this is just people posting there run times in threads then there should be video/picture footage of the lap times, so uno people can't cheat. or is this already going on and I'm to mentally blind to have noticed it?
 
It is people posting their times. If they have gamesharks and the like then they are normally asked to provide proof of their time.

If they do not have gamesharks then they are asked to save the replay and may be asked to somehow show proof after the event.
ie if they blitz the field then they will be asked to provide proof either getting their replay captured on a pc for posting on the net or some other way.
 
well most peepz don't have the time, hardware, (or the hard drive space) to make a video so yea...We just trust peepz
