Anyone do this lately?

I've beat the record twice [both times attaining a time of 7:27] and I still haven't acquired the trophy. Now, before you ask, the time, both times, were counted. I cleared all the results from the Nordschleife track before I started so that there could be a clear record that I completed it within those times. Additionally, I've also saved the replays.

I used the GT-R from the Arcade Mode list. I was in time trial. And I definitely had Sports: Hard tires on or I would've been achieving a much better time.

I haven't received the trophy yet and I'm just curious, has anyone had this problem? I really don't want to run the course again. I love the 'Ring, but to keep running it in a car that isn't even mine is terribly boring.
 
You have used the GT-R '07 from the arcade list (untuned basic version) with sports hard tires?

I'm still 8 seconds to slow, so i can't say if it works or not. :indiff:
 
Yup. Not tuned and the tires are Sports: Hard. I'm pretty sure if I ran it with Racing: Soft or any other grade tires, I would've completed the trophy long ago.

If anyone else can confirm it, that'd be nice. I've been running B-Spec for a while and I still haven't received the trophy.
 
I did it on my brothers account 2 days ago and the trophy came in. Kaz must hate you. Or you're not telling us something. Or are doing something wrong.
 
Well, then. I don't know why it's not recording. I know for a fact that I used Sports: Hard and that I ran Nordschliefe. I ran the one where there is no weather changes. Do I have to run the other Nordschliefe with the weather effects [cloudy/dusk/dawn/whatever]?

And, unless 7:27 is somehow slower in PD's minds, then that's why it's not recording.

All aids were off. Trying to run the GT-R with TCS only slowed me down and I never use SRF because it's unrealistic. ASM is a joke in this game and the only three settings I actually messed with were Controller Sensitivity [set to seven], track grip [set to real], and damage [set to high].
 
I had the same experience, but then I realized that I had selected a GTR from my own garage. I didn't realize that was an option as I never use the Arcade mode. So I switched to the one from the arcade-only list but I have yet to beat the time with that car. I too would like confirmation from someone that got the trophy before I go beating myself up trying to get a hot lap.
 
I did the same thing - then realized I was picking the "newer" GT-R instead of the GT-R '07. Once I re-read the description on the trophy, seemed pretty obvious and I got it rather quickly. You sure you are picking the correct car ya, cause I think there are 2 GT-R's you can pick in the arcade mode car list."
 
I won the trophy on my second try (first was invalid) with a time of 7:25. Make sure is time trial in arcade mode, Nissan GT-R from arcade list, Sport Hard at least.
Donno what can I do more to help, hope you win the trophy:)
 
I started this when I first got the game but have still got some major time to find. I will keep an eye on this thread before I go at it seriously again.

Hmm. Probably bug or glitch.
Hope PD fix this.
 
I ran a 7.31 with all aids off and with a DS3 ... Not had chance to use my DFGT for this yet though.

Kind of got bored of it tbh ... Went and got my Calsonic Impul GTR instead ... Much more fun :D
 
I just did this a few days ago, so it does work after the last patch.

Make sure you are in arcade mode (the main screen), use the GTR '07, and the normal Nordschliefe track (not the 24hr version).

I'm not the best driver out there so it took several tries, but finally got it with a 7:28.5
 
Did it now aswell & got a 7:26,348 :D:tup:

Got a lot corners bad, so my time could be much better. Will try to archive a better time the next days. :)

I used a DS3, tested a bit & found a perfect setup, very easy & noob friendly. If you have problems with this trophy, try this:


Active Steering: Soft
Skid Recovery: On
ABS: 1
Control Sensitifity: 7
...all other aids: Off


With this setup you can "throw" the car more into the corners without loosing the control. Find the best braking points and avoid the grass.

Note: if your sector times don't pop up, restart the race (or reload the race) because your lap time will not count. There seems something buggy. Did before a 7:28,xx & the time has not count. :irked:


Edit: improved my lap time a bit, got now a 7:23,028. Difinitely ways easier with this setup! :)👍
