GT Rally Snow Stages (Special Event) bugged?

Is it just me, or are the snow stages of the Gran Turismo Rally Special Event bugged?

Every time I overtake the guy(s) in front by so much that they don't cross the finish line before the ranking list pops up, they just blow past me for about 100 meters and then stops, backs up a bit, goes forwards a bit more, backs up again, and so on... :lol:

And on the total times they get +10 seconds relative to me, it doesn't matter how much I beat them! (I can beat them by 30 sec and they will still only be 10 sec behind per stage...)

This happens every time, have anyone else seen this?!
 
The biggest bug with theses rally stages is they take place in a vast wilderness of nothing on tracks wider than the sun.
 
Yeah I saw that with my Evo 9 RM. I would have a huge lead on the cars, but end up loosing time, so I had to slow down after passing the cars. It's a shame I couldn't use that Evo 9 RM for the advanced races, it would likely blow away those WRC cars.

I just use the Impreza WRC 2008 car that I won, you can tune it to about 450 hp, it will crush almost anything. Won the advanced snow rallies by a margin of 1:30-2:00 mins...
