I've just finished a little something called the GT3 Speed Trial 2004. It consists of 12 cars going down the Maximum Speed Trial course in the Machine Test section and going as fast as they possibly can. The setting requirements were:

Ride Height to its lowest, front and rear
Brake Balance maximum, front and rear
Auto Gear maximum(obviously!)
ASM 10, TSC 5
and if available, Downforce minimum, front and rear.

Here are the cars that took part in alphabetical order. I would post the horsepower levels but i cannot remember them!:

Aston Martin V12 Vanquish
Chevrolet Corvette Z06
Dodge Viper GTS
Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R
Honda S2000 Type V
Mazda RX-7 Type RS
Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II(R34)
Pagani Zonda S
RUF RGT
Subaru Impreza WRX STi(44S)
Toyota Supra RZ

Here are the results:

1. Dodge Viper GTS 428.8 km/h
2. Pagani Zonda S 416.4 km/h
3. RUF RGT 413.9 km/h
4. Toyota Supra RZ 409.6 km/h
5. Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II(R34) 387.8 km/h
6. Mazda RX-7 Type RS 376.2 km/h
7. Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R 357.7 km/h
8. Chevrolet Corvette Z06 355.2 km/h
9. Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII GSR 345.6 km/h
10. Honda S2000 Type V 344.2 km/h
11. Aston Martin V12 Vanquish 341.4 km/h
12. Subaru Impreza WRX STi(44S) 333.6 km/h

These are accurate results as I finished the trial about 20 minutes ago. You guys could do one as well. It's simple. Just take 12 cars from your garage and do an event like the Option Speed Trial.

Interesting, and thanks for sharing. Though I don't know how useful it is. It is possible to get cars moving faster without adding parts if you know how to tune them better. Like, gears cranked all the way out isn't necessarily the best way to go. Sometimes they simply can't turn them that fast.

Personally, I would've used the Speed 12 in that test, thats one of the fastest cars in the game, on the test track it can beat an F1 car with relative ease.
