We can see negatif reviews but there are a lot of people which love GT Sport too, love the new direction taken by Polyphony Digital.
Me for example.
I prefer to say you now : GT Sport is already my favorite Gran Turismo.
I wasn't an online player. But since I tasted it, I can't do without it because I discovered that we could progress a lot against real players, that the fun was multiplied by ten. So, I'm very happy that PoDi chose to take this new direction. I hope, despite negatives reviews, that PoDi will continue to do what they want.
GT Sport is the more polished Gran Turismo since.... always. And it's the more "coherent". I like construction of this game :
- Mode Campaign : learning and mastering with very interesting missions and the brilliant circuit experience mode.
- Mode Sport : the heart of GT Sport. After learning, we move on to serious things.
- Mode Arcade : the mode where one can relax in solo with a very complete custom race mode.

- Mode scape for fan of photos
- Mode livery editor for fan of personnalisation.
It's very clear, we know where we are going.
Apart from that, I have a lot of fun with game. I'm verry happy, maybe I'm in minority, to have not a boring career mode that we forget when finished it.
Visuel is excellent on PS4 Pro, physic is excellent and sound is excellent, a lot improvement from serie. A lot !
I like circuit experience so much ! I loved to maitrise Nurburging in Gran Turismo 5 in special event, there, there are all tracks ! There is nothing better to master the tracks. I wondered why I was more at ease on Nurburgring than on other tracks .... Well it's thanks to this mode ! I like custom race which is very complete. By putting on difficulty level in difficult and all the options in real, it's just enjoyable.
I'm surprised by damages : suspension, engine and aerodynamic. Loss of direction, loss of power and loss of drag. Yes, we can to do it more realistic but this is enough for me.
And finally the sport mode. I would like the daily races to change more often but the base is solid. For my part, I only did four or fives courses and I had no problem with the servers. I find it very solid. I didn't have any problem with players either for now, I took a lot of fun!
Ha, and I like rallye ! The campaign mode gave me a taste for rally. On GT5 and GT6, it was completely unplayable with a wheel. Now, it's just the opposite. Once mastered the driving, we can have a lot of fun !
Now, I hope that the follow will be very good, especially for tracks where I repeat what I said, there is a bit too oval.
I can understand those who want the old formula but they should not be surprised because the new direction was very clear from the beginning.
In any case, I love GT Sport, a lot.
