Hey guys I stumbled upon this idea, and can't get it out or my head. Listen. I don't know how many of you already knew, but for some of you that don't - it'll sound outrageous. Okay so I am playing Gran Turismo 4 at the moment, right? Casually racing the one-make series (Racing the Red R Emblems) in my S-Tune Skyline R32. Then, at the final race at Suzuka I noticed something interesting. First lap I'm doing the hairpin in 1st gear and find the S turns to go really slow. (I'm on Sports Soft tires, standard for this car). Lap 2 and 3 I find myself doing the hairpin ik 2nd gear and the S turns go faster. Does this game have the same-ish welcomed tire model we have in Project CARS were the tires start cold and get warmer as you drive? I really think so. I can't think of anything else. Does GT Sport get this when damage and tire wear gets implemented? I hope so. I don't think GT5 and GT6 had this..

Share your thoughts.

All tires start out in GT as cold as ice, it's up to you to warm them up during the race, at least in endurance races

Can't say I really noticed it in the same way as in GT4 though, hmmm

I think this should be merged with the GT Sports Physics thread.
