Race 3 (15th - 22nd)

Track : Eiger Nordwand (Forward)
Car : Alfa Romeo 147 TI '06

RULES
Transmission: Drivers Choice
Active Steering: Drivers Choice
ASM: Drivers Choice
Driving Physics: Professional
TCS: Drivers Choice
Two wheels MUST be on track at ALL times (rumble strips count as the track)

Everyone who is happy with their time (which can only be submitted once) will send me a PM with their time and PSN username they did it on and I will go to the online leaderboard to check your time.. once it is all confirmed you are done. Persons in the top ten leaderboard online will be checked for validitity.

Your time must be in by the 22nd, any that are not in my inbox by friday at 00:00:00 will unfortunatly not be counted​

wanted to go for 1st place on the leaderboard ,but the nr 1 whas using clutch so i did not bother anymore...:ouch:

whas pretty happy with the lap ,only the gearing on the TVR whas not really suted to the track,but it whas funny to hold back the throttle on the final straight to hold the speed at excacty 253km/h...:):)...lol.

good to see a "underpowered" car for this event 3 ...👍

Time submitted, i missed the action in race 2! this combo was quite entertaining, aswell as challenging, I finished up with a lap I was chasing for for 2 or 3 hours, pretty happy to dip in the 1'21's:D
 
just did a few laps...as holl01 i find this challenging as well,its much more difficult than one would think....
will do some more laps soon to try and close the gap to holl01...

hehe, why thankyou:tup: the combo is hilarious in that to achieve the limit u need to adopt 'grass hugging tactics' were u need to get generous grass edge grips, especially the long right after T1, not very realistic at all.

i was doin' laps early this morning as well, and noticed you were improving your lap time from impressive to utterly SIK! NICE DRIVING!!

I managed to slip in to 1'23's :) at the time was fourteenth, I'm hoping to knock a second (or more) off before submission. I know where i have to improve my time, it's all about executing now.
 
on race 2, i recon i could of got first online, but i just couldnt get the 2nd part right, the car would always become unstable into the first chicane lol

i think not having the points there means that you dont quite know what you have to get, so you will push to do that little bit harder than needed.

its fairly close at the minute tho. :)

yeah have to use some tricks with this one ...lol:)

had to laugh aswell the first time i went up the hill thru the tunnel...felt like it whas taking ages and ages and i even almost got out of the chair to get a drink....lol,especially after just ran the mitsu in the other timetrail event on the same track...:):):crazy:

looks like fun, i'll get started tomorrow after work. should be interesting as i haven't driven an ff based car for a while. in real life i don't even drive an ff. so i'm looking to aim for 1'21-23?
 
i'm gonna run it for a bit, see if I can't better my already terrible time.

ill have the next race up in 5 mins or so.. just going to work out the current standings :)
