GT Updates (Downloading)

Hi Guys,

I was wondering, how I am supposed to download all the updates to my PS3 when I don’t have a stable internet connection at home.....

Is there a possible way to download the updates to a flash drive and then installing it when I get home from work?

Any help will really be appreciated.

I'll give this a bump, as I'd love to know if I could download it to a thumb drive while I'm at work.
 
yeah you could do this man then just stick it in to your ps3 go to external media device by pressing triangle go to something like view all i cant remember off top of my head then click that then click on the file and go to copy to ps3 hardrive then once thats done just click the folder on ps3 as far as i can remember and bobs your uncle hope this helps

This is only possible for PS3 firmware updates not video game updates.

You have to download/install through PS3.

Hopefully PD will look into this in future updates.
Im in South Africa and a decent line to play online and to download at a reasonable pace will cost me about $500 a month. Its a joke that we still have kak internet here in SA......
