go back and makre sure you actually won all the races and not just gotten a gold for the series that happened to me and i had to go back through all the races and i had a bronze in one of them and gold in all the rest so i just redid that race and got in

This is apparently not a rare occurence. It is really hard to tell the difference between bronze and gold trophies on the display. It could be that one of the events has not actually been won, which keeps the GT Word Championship from being unlocked.
 
I've racing on these two courses for the past day, and I love them both! They're becoming my most favorite new track/course of GT4. Amalfi is high up there, too.

I often race the last Gran Turismo World Championship race, which is the Le Mans course, over and over again. I race it with a either a bone-stock CLK GTR or Toyota 88C-V. Good for a 13+ second victory. 👍

i completed this 10 race championship the other day.... i found it pretty hard, even with my Nissan R92CP (got it in the fuji 1000 enduro race, if i remember right).... but i was as happy as a pig in **** when i did complete it LOL

then i got a black R92CP in the used car lot a game week or so later LOL

Ok...i give up...ive searched the entire forums and i cant figure out how to unlock the last championship in the Professional hall...

Ive done all the races in the beginner's hall and all the races in professional hall ( less the last race )

and im at 24%....

Im itching to try extreme hall and i know i need to complete the GT world championship to do so....

Help anyone???

You have to win all the races in beginner and professional first. Once you win all the races you will be able to race.

I am in the same predicament and its very frustrating. I've checked and rechecked and I indeed won every race in the beginner and professional yet it STILL tells me I must win the very races in beginner and professional that I know I have already won. I have been stalled for a week now and unable to continue any further due to this....again VERY frustrating!

For what its worth, I have all my licences except the special licence so I doubt thats the issue, but at this point who knows. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Double check all the championship series, go into the events to see if they have been won or not. It may appear that they are complete if you simply scan through the beginner and professional halls. Go into the screen where you select the race to see if there is a gold cup under the championship icon.

Thats a good point TC, however I did take the time to insure I didnt win the races individually, I have all the gold cups in the championships as well as in the individual races in each particular championship....still to no avail.

Again, great point, but still no luck here, thanks anyway.
 
Yeah, so to answer the question, I believe it's been mentioned. You have to WIN all of the races rather than just COMPLETE them to make the World Championship. If it doesn't work after that, you've got a bad copy. :P

I continue to have this problem. Yes, I've won all the races. Yes, I won each through a series where I placed gold in each.

Still, it gives me the error:

"You need to win all Beginner and Professional Events first to participate in this event."

Have a toss, Polyphony.
 
go back and check to see if one was a bronze or something. Sometimes peopel get the Gold and Bronze trophies confused. I did and it drove me crazy. IF not I dunno whats wrong.
 
Oh, **** me. A friend of mine had done a couple beginner races, and the **** got a bronze on one. I didn't even think it was possible.. but oh well. Thanks for the help!
