Update. The online converting tool worked great. I putted a working AI autopilot cheat code on the pal gt2 version, who also pit and change tyres/tires. And the tool converted the hex cheat code to Japanese ntsc 1.0 iso version.
801D5DA6 00000001 is the Japanese code to use. (i tried first the code on the Japanese 1.1 version but it did not work. But maybe it work from autopilkot on any of the US version, converted to Japanese cheat).
How great the AI driver do depends on you setup tweaks and tires u use. I had a exciting close endurace race (
Special Stage Route 5 All-Night (GT2) between my toyota castrol Tom car and the toyota one le-mans car. He pitted one less time but was a tiny bit slower, but the castrol tom car got behind him a fiew laps from the end, but strugled to get past him, since speed was quite equal. The le-mans car was faster on the straight. Såo the castrol tom was under a second behind him passing the finish line.
Another trick i discovered and having true B-spec feature. When you are at the start race screen, and select to activat autopilot cheat, then dont start the race, just select test drive. Then you let the ai car drive a short distance AND you also activate Replay cameras (same as spectator mode on replays in race) cheat using the R1 button on contoller (pressing R1 down for a fiew seconds. short press activate change views, but holding R1 down activat true roadside spectator view).
Then when you start the AI B-spec race you select similar spectator mode camera view, and then you can switch camera between each car and follow them just like GT6 by using down up arrows, and change views on them too.
I also use a cheat ong right R3 button who change soung track or disable music, by holding it down a second. And on left R1 analog stick i use change or disable UI aka spedometers and timings Then i can enjoy the uncluttered screen and the cars. We need a shet to activat autopilot off, so we can take over the AI driven car just before finish, so the race end and we get the price car and money, or else the AI cars ceep trucking.
